Or and Paul’s Irish-Israeli Jewish Wedding in Chaldika, Greece

We love a multicultural Jewish wedding, and today’s is really something special. Bride Or is Israeli, while groom Paul is Irish – so they decided to split the difference by making things official in Greece!

The pair turned to Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Sirtaki Events to help them craft the perfect wedding weekend, combining both their traditions plus the vibrant local culture of Greece. Anat and Yonathan of Sirtaki helped Or and Paul find their dream venue, an intimate hotel by the sea with beautiful grounds and an epic pool that the couple secured for exclusive use through the weekend.

Amber had always dreamed of an intimate, laid-back celebration with the couple’s nearest and dearest – and with the duo’s loved ones split between the East and West Coasts, Tulum was the perfect choice.

Amy and Dan’s Wedding at Al Hayam, Caesarea, Israel

You’ll never believe the wild story behind this absolute stunner of a Jewish wedding! Amy and Dan had the most gorgeous Israeli Jewish wedding at Caesarea’s Al Hayam  – but until two days prior, they were actually planning on marrying at a totally different venue in the south of Israel!

A security situation in the south meant they had to change things around at the very last minute – but luckily they had an amazing planner, Yana from Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Craspedia Events, on hand to save the day. In the span of 48 hours, Yana secured Al Hayam for the couple – and they ended up loving it even more than their original choice.

We’re in love with all of the personal DIY touches the couple incorporated into their big day to make it 100%, totally them. We can’t get enough of the fun DIY activity sessions Judith and Josh set up for their guests, featuring everything from a giant Guess Who game with members of the wedding party as all the faces to an art station where guests could decorate mini canvases!

This was a wedding with lots of moving parts to be organized, and Judith and Josh wisely opted to work with Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Events by Natasha as their on-the-day coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly. In Judith’s words, “Natasha and her team were absolutely fantastic on the day – they prepared everything so beautifully, and were really instrumental in making things run smoothly and to time. It really allowed us to just “press play” on the day and see all the hard work being put into motion, without us having to worry about anything.”

There’s so much else to say about this beautiful day – from the surprise South African touches Alice added for Micael, who had lots of guests from home who sadly weren’t able to attend in person; to the incredible private badeken the pair shared after not seeing each other for a full week.

Diana and Jonathan’s Korean Jewish Wedding at Villa Nona, Caesarea, Israel

Diana and Jonathan planned a wedding that perfectly fused Jonathan’s Jewish Israeli identity with Diana’s Korean American background – in addition to being impeccably stylish.

Diana and Jonathan live in Seattle and opted to get married in Israel, where Jonathan’s family is. At first, Diana thought she could handle international wedding planning just fine on her own, but eventually she realized between the language barrier, time difference, and cultural differences she could use some help. Enter the couple’s fabulous wedding planner, Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Yael Kfir Frumkes. After a friend introduced Diana and Jonathan to her, they knew they needed her on their team.

This vision included not only a sophisticated neutral palette inspired by venue Villa Nona’s romantic Mediterranean vibes, but also a mix of Jewish and Korean traditions. Diana and Jonathan planned a unique chuppah ceremony tailored to fit their style, and followed it up with a traditional Korean Pyebaek ceremony.

Nimisha and Sol’s Hindu-Jewish wedding is just beyond gorgeous! When the UK couple started wedding planning, their overarching theme was to craft a celebration that honored both of their traditions – Nimisha’s Hindu, while Sol is Jewish – equally.

The pair crafted a bespoke ceremony blending both Hindu and Jewish traditions, with a Hindu priest and a rabbi co-officiating. They married under a gorgeous rustic canopy, blending the Hindu mandap with the Jewish chuppah, and we can’t get enough of the forest vibes Nimisha and Sol created with their color scheme of ivory, white, and green and candle holders, foliage, and lanterns throughout.

We also love that this wedding featured a big family dance, Bollywood-style, which everyone practiced for months – sometimes on Zoom!

10/01/2025 by Karen Cinnamon

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new blog series here on Smashing The Glass called “5 of Our Favorites.” Each week, we’ll be shining a spotlight on five beautiful Jewish weddings from our extensive archives, carefully curated around a different theme. Whether it’s a venue, style, or unique tradition, we’ll be bringing you some of the most stunning and inspiring Jewish weddings to help make your own planning journey even more special.

To kick off the series, we’re starting with a theme close to our hearts, with 5 of our favorite Jewish museum weddings. Given that our founder, Karen Cinnamon herself, got married at London’s Wallace Collection (and yes, you’ll see her wedding here), it seemed a natural starting point.

These weddings take place in some of the world’s most breathtaking museums, where culture and history combine to create truly unforgettable celebrations. From contemporary galleries to historical landmarks, these Jewish museum weddings are full of beauty, meaning, and charm—and we can’t wait to share them with you. Stay tuned for even more beautiful ideas and inspiration in the weeks to come!

The majestic Natural History Museum, a beloved Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor in lovely South Kensington, is one of the most spectacular venues in all of London, and Orly and Zak’s epic reception in the museum’s stunning Hintze Hall—if you’ve been, or seen it in pictures, it’s the main space with the whale skeleton overhanging—does not disappoint.

Chicagoans Ranana and Binyamin chose the Chicago History Museum as their venue in honor of their shared love of  art and history—and we love that every decision they made in planning their fabulous day was focused on truly making it their own. The couple’s photographer, the spectacular Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Eliana Melmed Photography, captured the day so perfectly.

From invitations designed by the artistic bride herself–taking inspiration from the Frank Lloyd Wright window in the room where the chuppah took place–to the heartfelt egalitarian Orthodox ceremony the couple crafted alongside their officiant, this was one special day.
