Get Your Glow-Up While Supporting Israel with FRÉ Skincare

29/02/2024 by Karen Cinnamon

Since 10/7, I’ve been making an effort to support Israeli businesses – and I know a lot of you have too. And by far my favourite find has been FRÉ Skincare, an awesome Israeli brand with cutting-edge products that are giving me that post-spa glow every day.

I’ve been using FRÉ products for two months now, since the beginning of January this year, and they’ve been a total game changer for me. My skin has never felt so glowy, dewy, and radiantly healthy – and the ritual of using these seriously luxe-feeling products at the end of each day has become such a restorative wind-down routine.

Giving Back

All of FRÉ’s products are vegan and cruelty-free, and I love their commitment to Tikkum Olam. They offer a 100% money-back guarantee for 30 days after your first order – no questions asked –  and they ship throughout North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and, of course, Israel!

I’m so thrilled to be sharing this wonderful brand with you – try FRÉ for yourself with a 25% discount with the code “JEWISHLIFE”.

Here’s a more detailed rundown on what I’ve been using and, most importantly, the results!

You’ve chosen your gown, picked a veil, and booked for hair and makeup. But your bridal look’s not quite complete without one last thing: your wedding shoes! Your choice of shoes is another fabulous way to put your own unique footprint (pun totally intended) on your day, and there are so many gorgeous options to suit all tastes.

Today, we’ve teamed up with online bridal retailer Lace & Favour to chat through some of the top trends for wedding shoes in 2024.

No one knows this stuff better than Lace & Favour: an independent family run business, they’ve been supplying brides worldwide for more than 20 years, and they currently stock an astounding range of over 3000 hand-picked shoes and accessories.

Lace & Favour carries beloved bridal footwear brands including Freya Rose, Rainbow Club, Harriet Wilde, and so many more – and we’re thrilled to share their take on what’s trending today in wedding shoes, from bows to pearls to florals and beyond!

Brilliant Bows

One trend we can’t get enough of is bows! Bows are captivating brides with their timeless charm and versatile elegance, and it’s easy to see why.

Join Us For a Jewish Community Get-Together This Sunday, March 3

27/02/2024 by Karen Cinnamon

Every day, I’m hearing from so many of you who are struggling with the current environment of pervasive Jew hate. It’s really rough out there right now – but at the same time, it’s more important than ever to be proud and empowered in our Jewish identities.

But none of us can do it alone – and that’s why I’m running a FREE 90-minute community Zoom get-together for everyone who could use some support and connection from other Jews who are going through the same things as you.

The event will take place this Sunday, March 3, at 8:30 PM UK / 4:30 PM NYC / 1:30 PM LA, and you’ll find:

  • Connection, community, and comradery with fellow Jews who understand what you’re going through right now – including breakout sessions to share whatever you are feeling
  • Step-by-step guidance on effectively combatting Jew hate and misinformation about Israel, online and off
  • Q&A session – for advice and guidance on anything you want to talk about or share.

This event is free and open to the community, so please do register now  – and share with anyone you think could benefit.

A Berta Bride for a Romantic and Modern Jewish Wedding in White at the St. Regis Bal Harbour, Florida, USA

26/02/2024 by Karen Cinnamon

Adiel-and-Murray-The-St.-Regis-Bal-Harbor-Miami-Florida-USA

There’s just something about an all-white color scheme – and we are absolutely loving Adiel and Murray’s monochromatic masterpiece of a Jewish wedding at Florida’s St. Regis Bal Harbour!

The couple’s floral chuppah is just beyond, and we can’t get enough of the gorgeous centerpieces either – don’t miss them in the wonderful photos by Andrew of Luvrox Photography and trailer by Ray Roman!

Another touch we adore? Adiel and Murray chose a gorgeous ketubah featuring roosters from Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor ketubah.com, in honor of the groom’s late grandparents who had rooster figurines throughout their home in keeping with Syrian tradition that roosters are good luck.

We also love that Adiel was committed to wearing a gown by an Israeli designer, and she could not have looked more stunning in her sparkly Berta gown! We’ll turn you over to her now for the rest…
