Natasha and James’ big day embodies everything we love the most about London Jewish weddings. There’s something so iconic about a London hotel venue and Natasha, who works at Sky Sports as an Assistant Producer, and James, a Senior E-Commerce Manager at Universal Music Group, opted to make things official at one of the best, the stunning Rosewood London. The couple loved the way the property embodies “cool and classy,” and it really was the perfect spot for this very special day.
Natasha and James’ wedding planners, Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Uptown Events, helped the couple bring their wedding dreams to life, and, in the bride’s words, “made everything so seamless from start to finish.” We’re obsessed with all the gorgeous details that gave this wedding its wow factor, from the epic forest-like chuppah in green and white to Natasha’s bespoke gown by Suzanne Neville and so much more. And naturally we’re obsessed with the candid editorial photography from Rachel Takes Pictures!
Read on for all the rest of the details of this exquisite wedding in Natasha’s own words…

How We Met
Natasha, the bride: James & I never had the “hello, nice to meet you moment”. We had actually known each other since we were little, with James being best friends with my cousin. It was only at University that we were “formally” introduced and the rest was history! We both studied in Leeds, Natasha at the University of Leeds and James at Leeds College of Music, and from the day we met, we instantly clicked… Two days later and we are having our first date, at Old Trafford for Manchester United vs Arsenal (both MASSIVE Arsenal fans)! 8 years later and we are married!
A Rosewood Wedding
We got married at the Rosewood London. We both love a London hotel for a Jewish wedding and Natasha always knew the Rosewood was her favourite. The Rosewood to us always felt cool and classy, filled with so much elegance and wow factor. It was very us and the perfect venue for our wedding.

Planned to Perfection
For our wedding, we used Uptown Events as our wedding planners. Lara, who works there, is Natasha’s best friend and made everything so seamless from start to finish. Natasha is very particular with what she likes and when it came to the wedding, she knew exactly how she wanted it. Lara and the team at Uptown were incredible at bringing all the visions to life.

Hair + Makeup
Gaby Goldring for hair and Natasha de Cazalet for makeup.

A Suzanne Neville Dress
My dress was from Suzanne Neville. It was a completely bespoke dress, that I designed with the incredible team at Suzanne Neville. We took inspiration from all their beautiful dresses and made it into the perfect one for me. I found it tricky picking “the one”, as I went back and forth between lace, satin, different styles, different shapes and realised after that, that I needed to make my dress! The team at Suzanne Neville are quite simply fairy godmothers and are incredible at everything they do.

Ceremony & Chuppah
My chuppah was beyond my wildest dreams. We used Flowers by Miri who is super talented and a visionary when it comes to flowers. Natasha wanted a big, forest like chuppah, in greens and whites, with all flowers to match. Miri brought this to life in the most spectacular way. The whole ceremony was magical but three stand out moments for us were the Badeken on the aisle, when we first saw each other, the seven circles and of course, Im Eshkachech and the smashing of the glass.

Ketubah
We had a traditional ketubah.

Our music choice
We used Totem as our band and had James’s best friend, Aryell (DJ Ari Houmous), perform a set for us during the night. We had a mixture of feel-good songs, classics, house and pop!

Flowers
We used Flowers by Miri and used mostly peonies, hydrangeas, roses and foliage. Natasha’s bouquet was a stunning all-white peony arrangement; the bridesmaid’s had a mini version each of Natasha’s bouquet. The men’s button holes were white roses. Our table centres were a mixture magnificent centre pieces; on some of the round tables, we decorated trees with incredible flowers on them and hanging off and then on other’s we had candelabras with flowers surrounding them. For the long tables we had runs of flowers in vases with candelabras. Miri is sensational and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Photographer and videographer
We used Rachel Takes Pictures for our photography. Photography at the wedding for us, was one of the most important aspects and we fell in love with Rachel’s style instantly. We love editorial and candid pictures, and Rachel captures this brilliantly.
For the videographer, we used Denee Motion who were also incredible at capturing everything. They help bring all the memories back to life so well.

Food and cake
We used Eat Me Events.

Extra Details
A fun detail – James is an incredible guitar player so he performed a song with our band, Totem. It was EPIC.
