A Pronovias Bride for a Colorful Jewish Wedding With a Stunning Chuppah at The Berkeley, Knightsbridge, London, UK

Natasha and Barry’s Jewish London wedding was all about color – and boy did they go all out! The stunning chuppah, created by extraordinary florist, Amie Bone, made an incredible centerpiece for the entire celebration.

The wedding was held after Shabbat on Saturday night, Israeli style, and was a full-on family affair, with everybody close to the couple playing an important role in the big day. 

Beautiful bride Natasha looked simply incredible in her Pronovias gown, which was purchased at the 11th hour with a lot of help from the wonderful staff at Bridal Rogue Gallery. You’d never know there was behind-the-scenes dress drama, as Natasha looked like a dream!

Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor and world-renowned kosher caterer, Food Story, outdid themselves with what can only be described as a sumptuous feast, complete with desserts with a little something extra…

How we met

Natasha, the bride: After dating for just under a year and a half, Barry proposed in Paris under the Eiffel Tower — no clichà©s at all! Without me knowing, he’d been planning this for a few months and had even bought a beautiful ring, made for me, which luckily fit!

A Stewart Parvin Bride for an Epic Secret Garden Jewish Wedding with a Viral Best Man Video at Thornton Manor, Cheshire, UK

Shh… can you keep a secret? Well that’s good, because WE CAN’T! Everyone please join us in gazing in awe at Pippa and Josh’s absolutely sublime secret garden-themed wedding! 

Before we start unpicking the absolutely divine details of the day (and there are many), you may have already come across today’s wedding in the form of the viral best man video (below) in which the eight contenders for the job of delivering groom Josh’s best man speech created a hilarious and epic parody of The Apprentice. This had us in absolute stitches, and we highly recommend watching it!

Back to the big day itself, our incredible Recommended Vendor, the inimitable Debbie of Qube Events & Productions, outdid herself on this secret garden production, which took no fewer than four days to set up! 

The romantic lakeside ceremony was conducted under a magical, wild and sprawling floral chuppah, heaped with foliage and tumbling flowers. Does it get any more dreamy than that? The statement floristry was a major focal point of the dà©cor, with stunning table arrangements and flowers throughout. 

Gorgeous bride, Pippa, looked a vision in her elegant and show-stopping Stewart Parvin gown and old Hollywood waves, and their meaningful ceremony was full of love and focused around family. 

Photographers Reportage Gallery created a beautiful spread of images, which we’re so thrilled to be able to show off on these pages, and, thanks to Pippa’s eloquent write up, we almost feel like we were there (if someone could pass us some of those churros through the screen, we’d be very grateful)!

Pippa, the bride: We got married at Thornton Manor Lakeside Marquee. It was only the second venue we visited but we loved all the beautiful outdoor space and the ability to get married by the lake, which was an amazing setting for the chuppah.

A Rustic-Chic Jewish Wedding at Soho Farmhouse with an Elizabeth Fillmore Bride

A rustic chic aesthetic, live music aplenty, adorable extras and an incredible amount of family involvement defined Charlotte and David’s divine Soho Farmhouse wedding day. 

When we say family involvement, we mean that the happy couple had an entire team of amazing helpers. The wedding was planned by the bride’s mum, the invitations designed by the groom’s sister, the jewellery provided by the groom’s mum, a dear friend of the bride sang the couple through their first dance – a perfect example of how the Jewish community comes together in times of celebration.

As Charlotte is a music manager, it went without saying that the wedding was packed with live music, including a gospel choir for the ceremony – now that’s something you don’t see at every Jewish wedding! The wedding featured two of our wonderful musical Recommended Vendors: Boutique Chupah Music (hear their amazing rendition of ‘Boi Kallah’ to the tune of ‘Hallelujah’ in the Insta-clip below), and the amazing  Wedding Smashers, who were on hand to kick the party up a notch and truly honor the venue’s ‘last man standing’ curfew policy. 

Adorable extras included a midnight munchies van outside (heaven), and the guests arriving by milk float, which the STG team has now decided to use as its exclusive mode of transport from now on. 

We’re also LIVING for Charlotte’s incredible, full-skirt Elizabeth Fillmore dress. What an absolute vision of bridal beauty!

A venue with a last-man-standing curfew

Charlotte, the bride: We got married at Soho Farmhouse. We loved going to friends’ weddings abroad. You can’t beat the laidback atmosphere of an abroad wedding. We wanted to create that in the UK without any hassle of organising a function abroad, and Farmhouse allowed us to do just that. 

We loved Soho Farmhouse from the moment we stepped foot onto the grounds, which was when it first opened, perhaps a year or so before we got married. Plus, their curfew rule is ‘last man standing’.

A fairy-light filled Jewish Barn Wedding with a crowd-surfing Enzoani Bride at Tewin Bury Farm, Hertfordshire

If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years about Essex couples, it’s that they know how to party – and party is exactly what fun-loving Sammy and Wayne did, with gusto! In fact, they partied so hard to STG Recommended Vendor, Totem‘s, set, that bride Sammy threw caution to the wind, and herself into the arms of her guests, becoming our first crowd-surfing bride!

Sammy, an assistant producer with credits on just about all of your favourite entertainment shows, and Wayne a lettings manager, met as teenagers, and these childhood sweethearts stayed together through thick and thin, tying the knot on their ten-year anniversary.

The pair chose a rustic barn theme, with an abundance of gypsophila and a plethora of twinkling fairy lights, creating an absolutely magical atmosphere. 

Sammy looked sensational in her Enzoani gown, and Jenny Packham heels, which she later swapped for embellished, personalized Converse, echoing one of her favorite films, Father of the Bride.

How we met 

Sammy, the bride: We went to King Solomon High School in Essex, but Wayne was two school years above me and emigrated from South Africa when he was 14 years old. We never spoke at school.

When I was in sixth form and Wayne was on a gap year before university, we met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in a nightclub. We clicked straight away, and went on our first date a week later.

On our first date, we went to a restaurant where we chatted for five hours, we practically got chucked out of the restaurant as we didn’t want the night to end. The rest, as they say, is history.

Meredith & David  have got the balance of rustic AND glamorous just right. The combination of gorgeous wild flowers, pastel  tones and personal touches,  alongside the beautiful barn  setting of Heaton House Farm in the  Cheshire  countryside is utterly perfect.

Meredith is American, and David is British but they both live in NYC now, so this is actually a Jewish destination wedding in the UK! Their W Day  is  bursting at the seams with thoughtful details, elegance and fun, like the bride’s sky  high pink Prada heels, a beautiful lopsided wedding cake (read on to hear the story behind that!), a meaningful ceremony,  and girls on roller skates giving out shots at  the after party! F-U-N !

Something that really touched me was hearing about a keychain made by the bridesmaids for Meredith depicting her beloved brother and stepfather who had tragically passed away some years before the wedding. Meredith attached the keychain  to her bouquet for the wedding day itself, and to this day,  carries it on her keys for a  beautiful daily reminder of her  wedding and her brother and stepdad.

Enjoy this sweet treat of a wedding — it’s romantic and whimsical but also sleek and stylish. And looks effortlessly so at that.  All of the  fabulousness was captured by STG regulars,  Reportage Gallery, with the most gorgeous film by Minty Slippers at the end.

How we met

Meredith, the Bride: Dave  is British (he’s from Manchester) and I’m American (born and raised in New York) and we  met though a mutual friend. My brother’s friend introduced me to his wife, who is from Manchester. We became friendly and she set me up with dave.  This is really meaningful to us, as Dave never got  to  meet my brother Gregg, who passed away in 2008. In a way, it feels like Gregg brought Dave into my life. Dave reminds me a lot of my brother and having this connection to my brother is very special.
