A Limor Rosen Bride for a Jewish-Scottish Wedding at Winter Gardens Botanical Gardens and West Brewery, Glasgow, Scotland, UK

01/04/2019 by Karen Cinnamon

Jewish wedding Winter Gardens botanical gardens and West Brewery, Glascow, Scotland_0015
When Tel Aviv chic meets Scottish tradition… We’re crazy about the way STG Brides Club member, Arden and Steven brought modern Tel Avivian colors and geometrics into their very Scottish venues, and we can’t get enough of PJ Phillips’ wonderful photos and videographer Sandy Butler’s gorgeous trailer.

Arden, a writer originally from Florida, and Steven, a Scottish developer, both work in tech in Tel Aviv, but they opted to marry in the groom’s hometown of Glasgow.

We love how they incorporated both Jewish and Scottish customs into their humanist ceremony – the traditional handfasting is really not to be missed! And neither is the gorgeous ketubah from wonderful Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Ketubata.

And how perfect were their favors: mini bottles of oh-so-Scottish whiskey and gin from Tel Aviv’s own Milk & Honey Whisky Distillery?!

Arden, who looked stunning in Limor Rosen, will fill you in on the rest…

How we met

Arden, the bride: We actually met at AM:PM (convenience store) in the neighborhood we used to live in! Not long after meeting, a friend connected us on Facebook and we started dating shortly after.

10 Chic Valentine’s date night outfit ideas with Karen Millen

02/02/2017 by Karen Cinnamon

Karen-Millen
It’s no secret that I’m a massive Karen Millen fan. I’ve been a loyal and enthusiastic customer ever since I can remember. I shopped there when I fancied myself as a glam London girl about town. I wore Karen Millen for dates in my single days and still wear Karen Millen for date nights with Mr. STG to this day. I wear Karen Millen to work events, business meetings, weddings (Karen Millen makes fabulous wedding guest outfits)… did I mention I’m a fan?

So I thought it was about time that I wrote my long-overdue love letter to Karen Millen on this blog — and since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I thought I’d make your Valentine’s Day outfit choices just that little bit easier (unless, like me, you fall in love with everything!)

Here are my top ten Valentine’s Day date night looks from the Karen Millen SS17 Collection.

Navy jumpsuit

A perfect work-to-evening look for date nights after a busy day in the office. Style it down with a blazer during the day for a more professional look and style it up with some classic jewellery and a sleek clutch to stun for a Valentine’s date.
