Everything You Need to Know about Jewish Wedding Stationery {With Jack McGinnigal of EYI Love}

10/12/2019 by Karen Cinnamon

I’m so excited to share with you my latest Facebook Live with the incredible Jack McGinnigal of luxury design and print studio EYI Love. EYI Love, which Jack runs with his wife Lorna, have been translating their respective engineering and fashion backgrounds into memorable, modern stationery design since 2010. They adore Jewish weddings, and work with Jewish couples all over the world from their home base in Glasgow – including many happy STG brides!

Jack and I chatted about all things Jewish wedding stationery, from timings to aesthetics, and if I say so myself we created some excellent content. If you’ve still got decisions about wedding stationery to make, this Live is truly not to be missed.

Find Your Perfect Jewish Wedding Stationery {with Paperlust}

07/03/2019 by Karen Cinnamon

As a creative myself (yes, I ran a digital and branding consultancy before starting STG!), I’m passionate about design — and specifically about helping couples incorporate beautiful graphic design into their Jewish weddings.

Stationery of all stripes has a special place in my heart, and I’m always excited to find innovative new suppliers. And that’s why I’m so excited to introduce you to Paperlust today.

Founded in Melbourne, Australia, in 2014 with the goal of bringing custom stationery to design lovers worldwide while supporting local Australian artists, Paperlust offers custom designs for every occasion — especially weddings and engagements — and handles all the logistics (printing, packaging, shipping, delivery, customer support and more) so that their creative talent is freed up to do what they do best.

They offer a huge range of exclusive designs to suit all styles, with easy customization and printing options including letterpress, foil stamping, and digital — and the collection is constantly expanding, with new designs being listed every single day. Paperlust loves Jewish and Jew-ish weddings, they are truly a one-stop shop for all your wedding stationery needs, from engagement party invites to save the dates to wedding invitations and RSVP cards, menus to place cards and table numbers to orders of service, and beyond.

Though based in Australia, Paperlust works with clients all over the world, and they offer free worldwide express shipping for orders over $300 USD.

How to Experience the Spiritual Side of a Jewish Wedding (when it so often gets lost in the madness of putting the wedding together)

23/08/2018 by Karen

Jewish Wedding Spirituality_1210
This is a guest post by Micaela Ezra (Micaela on her wedding day above)

The days leading up to my wedding were some of the most beautiful yet stressful of my life. One thing was certain – the experience of the ceremony was as essential to me as the reception, and I wanted the guests to feel something special.

Identifying this early on, was the lifeboat that kept me in the right place when things went array (like a freak hurricane in the California desert on the day of an outdoor wedding type of chaos).

Truth, love and all things eternal

There is something otherworldly that happens on a wedding day. We are moved to tears more easily, we get goosebumps, there is a surge of joy, of optimism and adrenalin for everyone.

I believe it’s because we are tapping into an absolute truth – the power of LOVE – and because through that truth we are connecting to a realm beyond the physical world. A realm which is eternal.Continue ReadingContinue Reading

Paper Wedding Stationery vs Digital Invitations – Which Should You Choose?

26/07/2018 by Smashing The Glass

Invitations: Greenvelope.com | @Greenvelope

Here at Smashing The Glass we are HUGE fans of great design and beautiful typography so it will come as no surprise to you that we LOVE wedding invitations — paper and digital  — with equal  measure.

Both options have their share of pros and cons, and sometimes the answer isn’t as straightforward as you’d think. In fact, there isn’t a right answer at all. Ultimately, you just need to weigh what details and features make sense for you as a couple.

So today we’ve asked our wonderful friends at Greenvelope to highlight several points to help determine if digital or paper invitations are right for you.

(And by the way this is in NO WAY a promoted post – we love digital and paper stationery in equal measure – and wanted to create a post to help you decide which option might be right for you as a couple!).

Let us know what you’re going for in the comments below.
