Today’s Jewish wedding has a super inspirational love story behind it: Israeli couple Noa and Shaked were in a long-distance relationship for 6 years (!) while Noa was abroad studying medicine. The two of them are just radiating joy in the gorgeous photos of their day at Hadera Forest Hall, at Baya’ar, and knowing that bit of backstory you can understand why!
Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Ran Bergman’s photos of the day are just so artsy and cool; some of them could easily have come out of a really chic magazine spread (especially given that Noa and Shaked are basically models!).
And he captures the couple’s enchanted forest theme so well — you’ve got to see his shots of the beautiful outdoor ceremony, under a simple white chuppah laden with greenery, amidst the trees of the forest. Pure magic.
Also magical? Noa’s boho-chic Inbal Raviv dress, with lace and tassles galore. Now over to the couple…

A Forest Wedding
We got married at the Hadera Forest Hall, at Baya’ar. The feeling of being in a forest there is just magical; we couldn’t resist the lush greenery. And the location was halfway between the bride’s family home and the groom’s, so it made sense for our guests.

Enchanted Forest
XO Production handled concept and design, as well as production and planning. They helped us come up with our concept, and from there we worked with the designers to make it a reality.
We wanted to base our theme on the stunning view of the magical trees at the venue, and to pull it further into the hall, bringing the exterior to the interior. We used greenery and candles to enhance the enchanted forest look.

Intimate Invitations
We wanted an invitation with an intimate feel, so we choose a small size (10×15), and we added leaves to connect to the forest.

Hair + Makeup
My makeup artist was the amazing Inbal Margalit. Her style is clean and precise but still very impressive. And she is so pleasant and calm that it’s fun to spend the morning with her.
Hair was by Maor Kidushim – simply a great talent!

Boho Flats
I wore flat sandals that matched the bohemian look of my dress.

The handsome groom
Shaked wore a suit by David Sasson.

Unmatched Bridesmaids
My best friends accompanied me through the morning of preparations, but they didn’t wear matching clothes.

A Magical Chuppah
Like the design concept for the whole wedding, the chuppah design was elegant and magical.

Personal Vows
We wrote vows to each other – this was the most exciting moment in our very special ceremony ceremony, officiated by Rabbi Amihud Solomon.

To Be with You
For the chuppah: Mr Big – To Be With You
For smashing the glass: Space Jam Theme Song

Forest Florals
We had vegetable, eucalyptus, spices, and candles. My producers, along with the designer Tomka, brought our wedding dreams to life.

DJ’s Choice
We chose DJ Noam Zellner and gave him the freedom to choose the music. We trusted him very much.

Advice to couples currently planning their wedding
Choose planners/producers who will make the process pleasant. You want to surround yourself with people you can trust to take care of the big and small details. And a good planner will help you to choose the best suppliers – ours did, and it made our day perfect.
