A Sophia Tolli Bride for a Winter Jewish Wedding in Pink at Sopwell House, St Albans, UK

01/06/2026 by Karen Cinnamon Leave a Comment

Hannah and Luke, Sopwell House, St Albans, UK

Gorgeous chuppah alert! Bride Hannah, an account manager for a SAAS company, loves all things pink, so when it came time to plan her Jewish wedding to Luke, a research analyst for an asset manager, it was a given that the color would play a prominent role. That included the chuppah – and we are here for the floral romance in shades of rose crafted by the couple’s florist, Sonia of Amber Rose Flowers.

Hannah and Luke wanted to make sure their wedding had an amazing vibe with everyone up dancing all night, and they chose Totem – which happens to be owned by Hannah’s uncle Brett! – to make it happen.

We also love that the couple, who’ve been together since they were 15, had their rabbi from school under the chuppah with them officiating – and we’re also obsessed with the way they brought in all kinds of personalized touches incorporating their design and logo! Catch it all in the wonderful candid photos from Rachel Takes Pictures.

Read on for all the gorgeous details in Hannah’s own words…

How We Met

Hannah, the bride: We have been together for 13 years – we met at school and started going out when we were 15 in March 2013, and then went on to get married on 25th Jan 2026! We clicked from the day we met from such a young age and knew we were soulmates straight away – we couldn’t imagine life without each other.

A Self Portrait Bride for a Jewish Wedding All about Chesed at Allerton Shul and Palm House Sefton Park, Liverpool, England

30/06/2025 by Karen Cinnamon

Danielle and Paul, Palm House Sefton Park, Liverpool, England

We’re in love with the theme Danielle, a vet, and Paul, an A+E consultant doctor, chose for their Jewish wedding. In the bride’s words, “The theme was chesed, loving kindness/thoughtfulness, as we wanted to throw a party to thank our friends and family for supporting us over the years as singles. We and they have waited a very long time for this day!” How beautiful is that?

And that’s just the start of the wonderful personal touches that made this wedding so special. Danielle and Paul chose not just one but two venues with serious significance: they had their chuppah at Allerton Shul, where the rabbi and rebbetzin who introduced them work, and for the reception they moved on to The Sefton Park Palm House, which Danielle’s father was instrumental in restoring – a glazier, he donated almost 4000 panes of glass for it!

When it came time to choose a photographer, Danielle and Paul went with Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Kate Swerdlow, and they can’t stop raving about how wonderful she was. In Danielle’s words,  “She took time to understand our situation, gave us some fantastic ideas, and pulled off all of our requests. We didn’t want photographers everywhere on the day, and somehow, although our guests barely noticed her, she captured thousands of incredibly beautiful moments alone. She is a truly talented professional, she knows a Jewish wedding inside and out, was a joy to work with, and our photos are completely stunning.”

Read on for the rest of the story in Danielle’s own words…

A Caroline Castigliano Bride for a Classic and Elegant Jewish Wedding at The Biltmore, London, UK

13/11/2023 by Karen Cinnamon

Ella-and-Josh-The-Biltmore-Mayfair-UK

Who could use some extra Jewish joy right about now? We certainly could – and that’s why we’re bringing you the beautiful London Jewish wedding of Ella and Josh. The bride and groom, both business owners, brought SO much love and emotion to their big day, and we hope you’ll feel as inspired as we do by their ultra-moving photos by Robert Shack and video by Andrei Weddings.

The Biltmore in London was the perfect setting for Ella and Josh’s timeless and traditional Jewish wedding, and their classic décor, filled with white florals and abundant greenery, complemented the space so exquisitely – as did Ella’s gorgeous modern gown by Caroline Castigliano.

Music is such a big part of the atmosphere at a Jewish wedding, and Ella and Josh couldn’t be more thrilled with their choice of Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Matzoh Boys. In Ella’s words, “They were fantastic! The atmosphere was just the best – they really brought the London and Manchester crowd together. We loved their Israeli music sets especially and the chuppah was beautiful.”

Read on for all the details of this very special day in the bride’s own words…
