An Oscar de la Renta Bride for a Timelessly Romantic Jewish Wedding at The Muttontown Club, Long Island, New York, USA

06/04/2026 by Karen Cinnamon Leave a Comment

Laurel and Jack, The Muttontown Club, Long Island, New York, USA

Gorgeous wedding alert! Laurel and Jack’s Long Island Jewish wedding at The Muttontown Club, once a private Gilded Age estate, is truly a knockout. They wanted the day to feel warm, whimsical, ethereal, and romantic – and did they ever, incorporating tons of candles, lush florals, and a soft, classic color palette.

From the start, Laurel and Jack knew they wanted a hand-calligraphed and painted ketubah, and they found the perfect artist to bring their dreams to life in Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Elena Berlo of Once Upon a Paper. Elena worked with the couple to create a unique piece of art that they proudly hang in their living room as a reminder of their special day and their commitment to each other. Don’t miss it in the wonderful photos from Jonathan Scott!

This day was full of so many wonderful details, but we’ll leave it to Laurel – who looked radiant in her halter-top lace gown from Oscar de la Renta – to tell you the rest…

How We Met

Laurel, the bride: Connected by mutual friends, our first date took place on a blustery summer night in August 2019. The thought of venturing into a rainstorm was made far more palatable by the anticipation of finally meeting – but little did we know that the company would prove far more enchanting than we could have imagined. Three hours flew by in what felt like minutes, leaving each of us eager to know more. From childhood memories in New York to college experiences and beyond, we discovered we had always been moving within each other’s orbit, unbeknownst to us.

The sense of familiarity was uncanny, also magnetic. Sharing stories about family and friends only deepened the desire to learn more about this wonderful new person that came into our lives. The night ended with a moonlit walk along the East River, watching the din of a summer night’s traffic scurry by. Little did we know in that moment on a night in the City That Never Sleeps, this would be the start of a beautiful, enduring relationship.

A Suzanne Neville Bride for an Elegant Jewish Wedding at the Corinthia, London, UK

28/07/2025 by Karen Cinnamon

Emily and Louis, Corinthia, London, UK

We’re totally and completed obsessed with Emily and Louis’s timelessly romantic London Jewish wedding at the Corinthia.

To craft the day of their dreams from start to finish, the duo turned to the best of the best: Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Elegante by Michelle J, who planned and coordinated the entire wedding. In Emily’s words,

From the very beginning Michelle understood our vision and guided us through every step with her unmatched expertise. She made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze for us and we genuinely  looked forward to each meeting.

Emily and Louis opted to work with another fabulous Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor, Dimitria Jordan, on their wedding stationery. Dimitria’s style was, in the bride’s words,

a perfect fit for our elegant and timeless theme. She patiently worked to get everything right for us, and we’re so appreciative of that. She did a bespoke illustration of our venue, which featured on both our invites and our wedding day stationery.

Photographer James Mason captured the day so beautifully – and we’re in love with Emily’s glam gown by Suzanne Neville. Keep reading for the rest of the story in the bride’s own words…

A Corinthia Wedding

Emily, the bride: As soon as Louis and I walked in, we instinctively knew that Corinthia London was our wedding venue. We loved how airy and modern yet timeless the hotel felt. The ballroom is beautiful, with high ceilings and so much character in the details. It was everything we could have wanted for our London wedding, and it was a very easy decision!

A Classically Elegant Jewish Wedding at Hazelton Manor, Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada

13/09/2021 by Karen Cinnamon

Mimmi and Justin, Hazelton Manor, Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada
We’re so in love with the classic Jewish wedding of Mimmi, a makeup artist, and Justin, who works in finance! Being a wedding pro herself, it’s no surprise Mimmi pulled together an absolutely picture-perfect day, with everything from an ultra-elegant custom gown by Paloma Blanca to a stunning floral chuppah to magazine-ready photos by Lace & Luce.

While Mimmi always thought she’d do her own wedding day makeup, a month before the big day she realized it would be too stressful and made the smart decision to book Faces by Tess, who did a totally fabulous job while also freeing Mimmi up to focus on the spirituality of her special day.

We’re also obsessed with Mimmi and Justin’s exquisite paper cut ketubah, custom designed by the talented Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Noa Attias in Israel!

And did we mention that the couple opted to end their big day with a henna party, in honor of Justin’s Moroccan heritage? Obsessed!

We’ll let Mimmi and Justin fill you in on the rest…

How we Met

Mimmi, the bride and Justin, the groom: Justin saw Mimmi at the library two years ago. He usually never approaches girls as he is really shy and conservative but this time he just had to approach her because she looked absolutely beautiful. Once he approached her there was no looking back.

A few months later Justin suffered a serious panic attack that landed him in the hospital, he had an existential crisis for 3 months and didn’t feel like the same person he once was. Mimmi was there for him during these 3 months, they got to know each other on a mental, emotional, and spiritual level. After these few months Justin knew what he had in front of him and wasted no time to propose with a beautiful custom designed radiant cut diamond. Six months later we are married!Continue ReadingContinue Reading
