Honestly folks I LOVE the vibrancy and spirit of this wedding. Lauren is the most beautiful bride and Gabe is one heck of a dashing groom. David Pullum, their immense photographer, has a brilliant knack for capturing emotions and this set of images is certainly testament to that. Despite the fantastically glamorous venue, this wedding is all about the people… you can see the joy and energy in every single photo… and the epic dancing at the end. I’m telling you, those guests have ALL the moves!
David, the photographer says, “Gabe is one of those people that makes you feel like you have known him for ages, even though you have only just met — he is infectious, and a lovely person to be around. Lauren is beautiful, a model who also played the DJ in the Robbie Williams video Rock DJ. The two of them make a wonderful couple.”
“The ceremony was attended by family and friends, actors, models, footballers and more cricketers than you could throw a stick at — it was a truly fantastic day, with the most riotous Israeli dancing I have witnessed. To see the rabbi dancing in between Freddie Flintoff and Kevin Pieterson was hilarious.”
VENUE
Lauren, the Bride: We chose The Waldorf on the Aldwych. We walked in and it just was so beautiful!
MY BRIDAL STYLE
My dress was from a designer called Lusan Mandangous… I saw the back of the dress online and fell in love with it. I borrowed my jewellery from my best friend so it was ‘something borrowed’. In terms of shoes, I went with skyscrapers – 4 inches heels to be precise! My husband Gabe is 6 ft 4 inches and I love a heel!
THE HANDSOME GROOM
Gabe wore a Spencer Hart suit and looked very handsome and he wore my favourite aftershave that I cant resist.
EVENT STYLE + DECOR
My wedding was generally very classic and traditional so all the uniqueness and special touches were by my sisters company, GSP Events, who sprinkled their magic everywhere. What I did know was that I wanted candles and a ‘vintage’y’ look but the rest I left to her.
FLOWERS
We used Wild at Heart they are simply the best! I chose roses in baby pinks, creams and lilacs. Overall it looked very romantic with a touch of vintage – just how I envisaged it.
I had quite a few bridesmaid as I am one of 6 kids so I have lots of nieces and nephews! They kids wore a mix of Monsoon and hand made tutus and the women wore dresses by Amsale in burgundy and baby pink, The flower girls all wore white.
OUR AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER
We were utterly thrilled with David Pullum, the best wedding photographer ever! He captures the emotion of the day like no one else.
MUSIC
We had a amazing klezmer band called Shir for the ceremony and the Israeli dancing, and then we went with a DJ who really rocked it!
BEST PART OF THE WEDDING
What made our wedding so special to me (apart from marrying Gabe of course!) were the people, the speeches, and I have to say that our Israeli dancing session was particularly thrilling!
ADVICE TO OTHER BRIDES
I’m sure lots of people say this but just take a moment to take it all in and look at all the people you love around you.

Some of my favourite images from Lauren and Gabe’s wedding are of the, quite frankly, EPIC hora and Israeli dancing. As you can imagine, I have the privilege of blogging countless Jewish weddings but I don’t think I’ve ever seen such gloriously glistening, gleeful faces as these!
And if you’re hoping to look as good as Lauren did on her big day, I recommend you make your way to her newly opened London juice bar. As I write, she’s designing post-baby and wedding cleanses to add to her range… I for one am popping in to have a glug this very morning!
Wow. Just breathtaking images – a fantastic wedding, made even more fantastic by stunning photography. I love the dancing shots. Just wow.
David Pullum’s photphraphy is simply immense… I feel as if I was there (damn I wish I was !!)
Such an awesome energy. This looks like one party I wish I was at!
