A Jenny Yoo Bride for a Romantic Winter Jewish Wedding at Danversport Yacht Club, Danvers, Massachusetts, USA

15/05/2023 by Karen Cinnamon

Madeline-Adam-Danversport-Yacht-Club-Danvers-Massachusetts-USA

We’re obsessed with all the personal touches Massachusetts couple Madeline, who manages an academic research program focused on traumatic brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases, and Adam, an emergency room physician, put into their very special Jewish wedding.

Madeline and her mother planned the wedding themselves, Madeline’s college friend Shelby hand crafted all of the signage to match the theme and flowers, and, best of all, the couple put together a fabulous wedding program including fun touches like a bingo card providing unique details about guests so that people would feel more comfortable mingling and getting to know each other while filling in their cards! Such a clever idea.

We also love that Madeline and Adam, realizing that their winter wedding would include lots of indoor photos and difficult lighting, specifically sought out a photographer who they knew could excel in these conditions – and they found the absolute perfect fit in Eric McCallister.

There’s so much more to say about this beautiful Jewish wedding, but we’ll turn you over to Madeline, who looked so glam in Jenny Yoo, for the rest…

A Stella York Bride for a Winter Jewish Wedding Filled with Warmth at The Grove, Chandler’s Cross, UK

08/05/2023 by Karen Cinnamon

Sophie & Josh, The Grove, UK

We love it when a couple assembles a fabulous team of Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendors to make their Jewish wedding the day of their dreams – and that’s exactly what today’s couple did.

Sophie, who works in account management for a marketing agency, and Josh, a chartered accountant working at a fintech company, made it official at The Grove in Hertfordshire, a local spot that was truly the perfect fit for their glam winter wedding.

Their overarching goal was “a stylish wedding with a room filled with love and warmth” – and judging by the moving photos by Paul Toeman and video by #STGvendor Denee Motion – both of whom Sophie and Josh adored working with – they achieved it and then some.

#STGvendor Big Day Designs “were so helpful and produced the most stylish and beautiful stationery and invitations,” and two fabulous #STGvendors came together for an epic night of music: Eitan Freilich served as Sophie and Josh’s chazzan, and The Function Band handled the rest. Both were “absolutely incredible.”

In Sophie’s words, “Eitan helped us with options as we were not sure beforehand what we would like, although we did know we wanted to have the songs to tunes of songs that we know.”

As for The Function Band – the lead singer of which happens to be Josh’s first cousin – “they really went over and above what we were expecting for us both and our families,” not only providing the kind of music that kept guests on the dancefloor all night long but also helping in coordinating the day.

There’s so much more to say about this beautiful wedding, but we’ll turn you over to Sophie – who looked so elegant in Stella York – for the rest…

A Sincerity Bride for a Jewish Wedding with a Fabulous Floral Chuppah at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, UK

01/05/2023 by Karen Cinnamon

Stacey-Anthony-The-Midland-Hotel-Manchester-UK

Get ready to be blown away by today’s FABULOUS floral chuppah! Our Brides Club member Stacey, a Senior Executive Assistant, and Anthony, a Managing Director, opted to make trees the focal point of their Manchester Jewish wedding aesthetic, and we are absolutely obsessed with their tree chuppah! Get ready to be wowed when you scroll through the fantastic photos by Rob Clayton.

We’re equally in love with the amazing kosher catering by Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Feast by Ed. In Stacey’s words, the food was “unreal” from start to finish, with guests raving about how delicious it all was – and to cap things off, Feast by Ed served up a chocolate tree for dessert to match the décor – how amazing is that?!

We loved having Stacey in our Brides Club, and we’re so pleased to hear she not only found the group incredibly helpful for advice and support but also used an exclusive Brides Club discount code for her gorgeous wedding kippot!

We’ll let Stacey tell you the rest of the story in her own words…

An Anne Barge Bride for a Colorful Jewish Wedding at the Museum of Science, Boston, Massachusetts, USA

24/04/2023 by Karen Cinnamon

Hannah-and-Sam-Museum-of-Science-Boston-USA

Today’s joyful Boston Jewish wedding is all about color! Hannah, who works in strategy & operations at a health tech company, and Sam, who’s getting his PhD in biomedical engineering, set out to create a vibrant celebration of their love.

They worked with their planner, Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Primavera Dreams, to make their colorful, floral dreams a reality – from tons of whimsical, bright flowers to asking guests to dress colorfully! Photographer Alex Paul and videographer Rachel of Olive Ewe Productions captured the day so perfectly.

And how cute is it that the venue, Boston’s Museum of Science, was also the site of the couple’s first date (way back when they were in high school)?!

There’s so much more to say about this very special Jewish wedding, but we’ll turn you over to Hannah to continue the story…

Ester-and-Alex-Park-Chateau-East-Brunswick-New-Jersey-USA

A local venue that feels just like being whisked away to a chateau in the Loire? Yes, please! That’s exactly what today’s couple, Ester and Alex, found in East Brunswick, New Jersey’s Park Chateau – a venue so gorgeous Ester knew she wanted to marry there before she even met her now-husband!

Naturally, this was an uber-elegant wedding, with a color scheme of white and green with hints of gold, the perfect princess gown by Martina Liana, and a stunning modern ketubah by Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor The Delicate Brush.

All the wonderful details and emotion of the day were captured exquisitely by photographer Maria Kalitina – who not only shot some fab images but kept everyone calm on the big day – and husband-and-wife videographer duo Greg and Dierdra from Lorenzo Media Productions.

Read on for all the details of this special day in the bride’s own words…
