Andrea and Adam’s Jewish Wedding at Carnegie Hall, NYC, New York, USA
We love seeing the choices top wedding pros make when it comes to their own big days – so naturally we were thrilled to see the fabulous NYC Jewish wedding of Andrea, founder of NYLUX Events, and Adam.

Thanks to her work in the industry, Andrea knows all of the city’s under-the-radar venues, and she and Adam chose to wed at one of the very best: Carnegie Hall. Although it’s one of New York’s most iconic music venues, it’s a hidden gem of an events space, with outdoor space, epic views, and a prime location near Central Park – and Andrea and Adam loved sharing it with their friends and family.

The couple wanted to keep their wedding elegant, classic, intimate, and fun – like a big dinner party – and with special details like a cocktail hour to open the wedding, personalized notes for all the guests, embroidered napkins with bespoke logos, and a last hour “after party” featuring bar carts and pizza on the dance floor, they achieved their goal and then some!

There’s nothing like a Tuscan wedding – and Aviva and Alan’s is one for the books! These two went all out in embracing the local color and charm of their oh-so-scenic environs, from the majestic Grand Synagogue of Florence where the chuppah took place to the dreamy reception at Villa di Maiano, nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany.

Planning a destination wedding abroad is no easy feat, and Aviva and Alan wisely chose to work with planner extraordinaire Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Elegante by Michelle J to make their dream Jewish wedding weekend a reality.

Michelle brought in a team of nine coordinators who all worked to ensure that the couple and their guests were incredibly well looked after, not only on the wedding day but throughout the wonderful pre- and post-wedding events Aviva and Alan hosted for everyone. In particular, Michelle worked with the couple’s florist, Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Il Giardino delle Fate Flower Design, to style every space in a unique and beautiful way – starting with the welcome party, which was based on traditional Tuscan styling using lemons (lots of them) and blue chinoiserie.

Just after they got engaged, Deborah and Adam found their commitment put to the ultimate test when Deborah was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer.

For four years, Deborah endured surgeries, chemo, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant — all with Adam by her side. And when the couple got the amazing news that Deb was cancer-free in July 2018, they knew it was time for the wedding of their dreams.

Laura and Ray’s Ultra-Personal Family-Focused Jewish Wedding at Tur Sinai, Jerusalem, Israel
We love it when a couple has their Jewish wedding, their way… and that’s exactly what Laura and Ray did. These two made it their top priority to craft a wedding that was “so incredibly us,” and they put their own stamp on everything from the color scheme to the vibe, the music to the souvenirs.

Laura is a mother of six mostly grown kids, and it was important to her that they all had major roles in the wedding ceremony. Two of the kids were the emcees, Laura’s oldest daughter was her attendant, two kids sang Laura down the aisle, and her youngest daughter was her maid of honor – so special!

Given that Laura herself is a professional photographer, she naturally wanted only the best when it came to photographing her wedding – and so she opted for none other than Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Herschel Gutman! His images of the day are so full of emotion and love, we can’t stop scrolling through them.

Ines and Andy’s Jewish Wedding Featuring a Personalized Outdoor Chuppah at Sopwell House, St Albans, UK
Our Bride’s Club member Ines wed and Andy at Sopwell House in an outdoor ceremony under the most gorgeous personalized chuppah – just one of the many special touches the pair included in their day – and we are all about it.

So about that chuppah… Ines and Andy worked with Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor The Happy Chuppah People on the chuppah of their dreams – which they topped with the most exquisite personalized canopy handmade by Israeli artist Bella Alon – and they can’t stop raving about how much they loved working with the incredibly helpful team.

We also love that Ines opted to wear her mother’s wedding dress on the big day – how special is that?! Ines’s father had tragically passed away from Covid, and wearing her mother’s gown was such a meaningful way to honor his memory and make him part of the day.
So there you have it! If you’re planning a second-time-around Jewish wedding of your own, we’d love to hear about it in the comments!
