Today we’re heading to Florence today for the most joy-filled Jewish destination wedding at the breathtaking Four Seasons Firenze.

Bride Olivia, a speech language pathologist, and groom Amir, who works in construction and development, knew they wanted a destination celebration that would give their nearest and dearest an excuse for an unforgettable Italian holiday, and we can’t think of many settings more magical than this one.

From the start, Olivia and Amir wanted a wedding that would look as happy as they felt, and that came through in a gloriously vibrant floral palette that filled the venue with color and energy – don’t miss their fabulous floral chuppah in the wonderful images by D2 Photography! We’re also obsessed with the duo’s exquisite ketubah from Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Ketubah.com, designed by artist Britt Yudell.

Olivia looked incredible in the elegant Martina Liana A-line gown she chose for the chuppah. Later, she changed into a short, sparkly, pink dress by Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Galia Lahav – the perfect party look for dancing the night away.

How We Met

Olivia, the bride: We actually met in high school at a party. After high school Amir went straight to Israel, but we stayed loosely in touch. Several years later (in 2019), Olivia was on a family trip to Israel to celebrate her brother’s Bar Mitzvah where they reconnected officially. A little over a year later, Amir moved back to America permanently… and the rest is history!

A Martina Liana Bride for a Colorful Jewish Wedding Celebrating Joy at Tatton Park, Cheshire, UK

There’s nothing like an English country house wedding, and we absolutely adore Rachel and Stuart’s! Tatton Park, located near the groom’s hometown of Manchester, made for the perfect backdrop to this very special day – which included a wonderful outdoor chuppah on the grounds.

We love the couple’s focus on joy, beauty, and Judaism in crafting their big day – and how great is it that they made it a family affair, between Stuart’s uncle serving as the chazan and Rachel’s uncle designing the beautiful handmade ketubah! For good measure, Rachel herself designed the invitations, featuring a picture of the venue she painted.

When it came time to choose someone to capture their wedding, Rachel and Stuart chose Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Kate Swerdlow. In the bride’s words,

 I loved her relaxed style, which really captured beautiful, natural moments. Kate was also so lovely to work with – our engagement shoot at Aldenham Country Park was so much fun because she made us feel at ease and brought out the best in us. Our wedding photos are just beautiful, and I especially love how she captured the venue and all the little details so perfectly.

Cat Film Service handled videography, and the couple can’t get enough of their modern style and the way they captured the essence of the day.

A Martina Liana Bride for a Backyard Jewish Wedding in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA

Aly, a pre-K teacher, and Josh, a warehouse manager, were planning a big wedding at a winery – until COVID came into the picture. Opting to move forward with their plans to wed on their original date, these two cut their guest list down by 100 and shifted the proceedings to the bride’s parents’ backyard.

But if we hadn’t known all this backstory, we’d never have guessed Aly and Josh’s gorgeous wedding was anything other than plan A. Their intimate day was so full of love – not to mention beautiful details like a chuppah swathed in gauzy white fabric and dramatic fall florals and an exuberant, colorful ketubah inspired by Philadelphia’s famous Love sign by Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Nava Shoham of 1-800-Ketubah. How we Met

Aly, the bride: Josh and I technically met on the app Snapchat! One of my good friends posted a photo of him stating he was single and I didn’t waste a minute to tell her to hook us up. The next morning I got a phone call from her telling me to be ready by 9:00 and that we were going on a double date. The second we met we knew that we wanted to continue to get to know each other.
