An Alessandro Rinaudo Bride for an Israeli-Italian Jewish Wedding at Villa Miani, Rome, Italy

24/08/2020 by Karen Cinnamon

Rinat-Carlo-Villa-Miani-Rome

We love it when a couple combines their backgrounds to make for one ultra-memorable Jewish wedding. And how cool is it that bride Rinat, who speaks fluent Hebrew, and groom Carlo, who’s Italian decided to swap languages for their speeches as a surprise for their guests?!

And then there’s the swoonworthy, ultra-romantic Italian venue, Villa Miani. Once the residence of a noble family, we couldn’t imagine a dreamier spot for an outdoor wedding. Photographer VD Image captured the day SO perfectly!

We’re also obsessed with Rinat’s two very different but equally fantastic bridal looks, both from Italian designer Alessandra Rinaudo Bridal Couture. Starting with a romantic two-piece number combining a princessy full skirt with the most delightful guipure lace top for the chuppah and switching into a lighter, sparklier mermaid style for the reception, Rinat was one radiant bride from start to finish.

Now over to you, Rinat!

An Italian Wedding

Rinat, the bride: We got married at Villa Miani in Rome. The villa was originally the residence of a noble Venetian family and up until the beginning of the century was still an exclusive country house. We found the location very romantic and  elegant with open-air terrace, garden and fantastic halls. We had no doubt as we saw it, we felt that it was the finest setting for an unforgettable wedding.

A Lee Petra Grebenau Bride for a Super Luxe Jewish Wedding with a Performance by THE Gipsy Kings at David Citadel Hotel, Jerusalem, Israel

26/02/2018 by Karen

Today’s super luxe Jewish wedding contained plenty of surprises, from the astounding floral arrangements throughout the reception to the insanely gorgeous chuppah, the violinists during cocktail hour to Moshe Peretz and the ACTUAL Gipsy Kings playing the reception!

The couple chose to have a religious ceremony, conducted by none other than the Chief Rabbi of Israel, in Jerusalem, originally home to bride Natalie. Careful nods to their faith were included throughout the celebration, honoring the history and atmosphere of the incredible surroundings.

Beautiful bride Natalie looked a million bucks in her TWO(!) divine, sexy and gorgeous Lee Petra Grebenau gowns, with a see-through leg and gorgeous illusion embellishments. We. Are. In. Love!

Wedding planner and florist, Kby Design, created an incredible aesthetic, as you can see from the beautiful spread of images below from none other than our fabulous Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor, the one and only Ran Bergman.

This is the kind of divine big day that can only really be described through the medium of pictures, so we’ll now pass you over to Ran and to Natalie for the full story.

A Galia Lahav Bride for a Super Luxe Jewish Wedding, with an Epic Chuppah, at The Dorchester, London, UK

21/06/2017 by Karen

Brace yourselves, because today’s real Jewish wedding can only be described as a work of art, and we are really not exaggerating.

Georgia and Sam tied the knot at iconic London landmark, The Dorchester. Sam is a banker, while Georgia, a photographer and fitness instructor, is the daughter of Julian Posner, CEO of internationally renowned wedding and events company,  Banana Split, which is famed for transforming events into sensational worlds, with no detail spared.

Georgia and Sam’s winter wonderland vision, complete with a sea of hundreds, possibly thousands of candles, was realised by Banana Split, with an abundance of flowers by  Wild at Heart  adorning the room, and an awe-inspiring light bulb installation, with a couple of incredible twists (we won’t ruin them for you, read on).

The entire spectacular production, which included a phenomenal nightclub setup, was not only perfectly captured by masterful photographer  Robert Shack, but with his sensitive eye and artistic vision, the resulting images are absolutely timeless and extremely striking. We feel very honored and excited to have them grace our pages.

We invite you, as always, to enjoy the images below, Georgia’s account of her big day plans, and the tearjerker of a wedding teaser by the wonderful team at  AtMotion.

We hope you love it all as much as we do!

Divine dà©cor at The Dorchester

Georgia, the bride: We got married at The Dorchester in central London. It has always been a favourite venue of mine and the dà©cor and interior design worked really well with our designs and those which Banana Split created for us, as well as our caterer
