The Final Countdown
The four week countdown is officially on – and I almost can’t believe how time has flown by in these last few months (said every bride, like, ever!). I’m incredibly excited, and hoping to tie-up those final details and plans so that I can relax during this final run up!
Since I last wrote I’ve been super busy, which is something I’m sure all brides-to-be can relate to! I had the most amazing second Hen – a verrrry boozy brunch at the W Hotel with 15 of my best friends and family (my first hen was a ski weekend in Chamonix so it was about time we got a little wilder!)

Chuppah and bridesmaid dresses
I’ve been finalising plans with many of my suppliers, and I had a wonderful meeting with my brilliant florist which has gotten me SO excited for the chuppah! It’s going to be wonderful to see my vision come to life!
I had a wee panic over the bridesmaid dresses (one bridesmaid is pregnant and one has just given birth) and so the dresses I had originally bought no longer worked in quite the same way – so rather than go full-bridezilla I thought, screw it, I’ve still got time… and used the opportunity to totally change up my colour scheme and bought five new (and very pretty) dresses!

Still looking for the shoes
I’m currently in the fitting stages for my own dress, and I’m so enjoying getting to have so many lunch-break dates with my dress, I’m backwards and forwards to Mirror Mirror so often! I’m still without shoes, and it’s actually part of the process that I underestimated.
I’m a huge shoe addict, and I seem to have put as much pressure on finding ‘the ones!’ as I did with the dress. I think a few more shopping afternoons are on the cards (or evenings spent trawling the internet!) and then hopefully I can tick that off ‘the list’!

This weekend we have our Aufruf and I’m so excited to introduce my family to our synagogue and to meet our Rabbi who will be marrying us under the chuppah. We have lots of festivities planned over the next few weeks and so it’s a really lovely time to take a step back and enjoy every moment on the run up to the wedding day.
