Jewish Newlywed Spotlight: Lindsey Rosenthal

02/02/2022 by Karen Cinnamon

Lindsey is a member of our Smashing Life Club.

Inside Brides Club, I personally help you to minimize wedstress and overwhelm, and maximize your wedding budget. Oh – and every Brides Club member gets a free smash glass pouch (designed by me) for under the chuppah posted out to them too. Mazal Tov!

Come and join Brides Club too – for advice, discounts, community, sisterhood… and your sanity!

ABOUT LINDSEY

Where are you from? Raleigh, NC
What do you do for a living? Tax accountant
How did you meet your partner? He was my downstairs neighbor when we were living in Richmond, VA, & we were introduced by his roommate.
When did you first know you were in love? Our first kiss; it was straight out of a Disney fairytale. We had been friends for over a year, so there was a lot of build up for that moment.

ABOUT YOUR WEDDING

When and where did you get married? 27/11/2021 in Pittsburgh, PA
What was your wedding song for walking down the aisle? ‘So This is Love’ from Cinderella
How many guests did you invite to your wedding? 180
What was your favorite part of/thing about your wedding day?Our ceremony. Every aspect of the whole day was perfect, but the ceremony surprised us with how beautifully it came together & how intimate & authentic it felt. We also got a fun surprise when it began to snow midway through our ceremony. My husband had been hoping for snow since we booked our venue, & I was so happy his wish came true.
Best wedding planning tip? Hire a full scale wedding planner! They are worth every penny, & will ensure planning is a fun, seamless process instead of stressful & overwhelming.

Wedding vendors you would recommend? Photography: Meg Lucks of Abby Jiu Photography, Design & Planning: Em & E Events, Florals: Sapphire & Lace, Videography: Quinton Gray Films, Venue: PPG Wintergarden, Rentals: All Occasions Party Rentals, Hair & Makeup: Beauty Justified by Justine, Cake: Alex Robba Cakes, DJ: DJ Digital Dave
Where did you go on honeymoon? London & Paris
What does marriage mean to you? Partnership
Has your relationship with your partner changed since you got married? We’re fresh newlyweds, so nothing yet. We are planning to grow our family soon, so that will help shake things up a bit.
Secret to a happy relationship? Create a space for open & honest dialogue about everything.
