ABOUT LACEY

Where are you from? Los Angeles, living in Austin
What do you do for a living? I work in fundraising
How did you meet your partner? We met on Ok Cupid
When did you first know you were in love? Pretty soon after we started dating. No specific moment, but I could tell this was for the long haul.

ABOUT YOUR WEDDING

When and where did you get married? September 16, 2017 – La Canada Flintridge Country Club
What was your wedding song for walking down the aisle? ‘Simple Gifts’ from “Appalachian Spring”
How many guests did you invite to your wedding? About 120
What was your favorite part of/thing about your wedding day? Getting married, eating food, dancing
Best wedding planning tip? Think about what you want to remember from your wedding and put your energy and money there. Don’t spend as much time on the rest.
Wedding vendors you would recommend? Florist–The Loved Co., DJ–Vox DJs, Photographer–Jenn Jasso
Where did you go on honeymoon? 11 Day Caribbean Cruise
What does marriage mean to you? It means getting to spend my life with someone I love. It’s hard to describe the happiness I feel from getting to be married to my husband, like my heart lives outside of me.
Has your relationship with your partner changed since you got married? I believe it’s gotten stronger the longer we’re married. We continue to learn about each other. And to be able to pursue our common goals together is rewarding.
Secret to a happy relationship? I take true joy in picking out the perfect gifts for my husband.
