Where are you from? Columbia, South Carolina
What do you do for a living? Government Employee
How did you meet your partner? We met on Bumble!
Where did you go on your first date? The night that we met I was my fiancé’s date to his fraternity’s semi formal, and we went on our first real day 2 days later to an Alabama football game.
When did you first know you were in love? I realized it around 2 weeks after we met
How long had you been dating when you became engaged?2.5 years
What date are you getting married and where? December 11th, 2021 in Charleston, South Carolina
ABOUT YOUR WEDDING
Tell us about your wedding plans: We are having a large Jewish wedding at Lowndes Grove in Charleston! It is a destination wedding for our guests, and we will be combing traditional Jewish aspects with Southern wedding traditions.
What’s the most important part of your wedding day? I am most looking forward to the badeken
Fave Jewish wedding tradition? Badeken and ketubah signing
What does marriage mean to you? Having a best friend and partner to do everything with for the rest of our lives!
Best wedding planning tip (so far!): Do a venue walkthrough with your planner early on so you can choose the right decor and florals to fit the space! I thought I knew what I wanted, but then we visited our venue with our planner and she had us envision decor in different places and what I wanted changed so much.
