Yellow makes me feel good. It reminds me of sunshine and springtime and joy, which is exactly what Jazmine and Edan’s gorgeous W-day encompasses.
Set in the beautiful Morgan Mansion in sunny California, with an abundance of delicious blooms this affair is going to bring a smile to your face this Wednesday morning.
All of the gorgeous images are courtesy of the fabulous Jay Winter.
FIRST MEETING
Jazmine, the Bride: Edan and I met in January 2010 at Bally Total Fitness in Pleasant Hill. He had been working there as a trainer ever since he had graduated, and I started working out with a trainer just a couple of months later. To say that we were struck by one another would certainly be an understatement!
VENUE
Our wedding was nestled up on the hillside in the city of Morgan Hill, California at a beautiful, newly renovated mansion, overlooked the rolling hills and vineyard below, with beautiful grounds and an elegant, classy yet vintage style.
THEME
We went with a very simple, slightly vintage style and our wedding colours were gray and yellow throughout with a lot of lush greenery in the background.
CHUPPAH
Our chuppah was made of lace and draped over a beautiful white arbor.
BRIDESMAIDS
The bridesmaid’s dresses were different styles and shades of yellow. They chose the dresses they wanted to wear.
DECOR + FLOWERS
Our centrepieces consisted of plain mason jars with gray burlap glued around the middle and seasonal white and yellow flowers (hydrangeas, daffodils, yellow garden roses etc.). We had soft candlelight in votives as part of the centrepieces as well. Dinner was in a beautiful room off the side of the mansion with windows overlooking the wedding ceremony area and the landscape. We had chandeliers and drapes hanging from the ceiling, fireplaces lit in a couple of the rooms, engagement pictures up of us on the mantles and vintage postcards with messages on them.
PHOTO BOOTH
Our photographers also brought their photo booth, which added an extra element to the evening, and gave the guests something fun to do!

Love it, makes me want to get married again with a totally new theme!
It’s pure summer love, isn’t it?! And by the way, the idea of you two getting married with a totally new theme is a frankly superb idea.
HA, the bank manager thinks otherwise 🙂
