Create the perfect destination wedding with Tel Aviv dream team – Made in Israel Events

22/02/2017 by Karen

Made-In-Israel-Events An occupational highlight of my job (apart from taking over The Savoy) is that I get to meet exciting, new companies starting out on the wedding scene, before most. It’s such a fabulous dream factory of an industry and I love finding the new talent-brimming with fresh ideas. I’ve always been a what’s-the-next-big-thing girl.

Made in Israel Events are the (relatively) new wedding organisers on the Tel Aviv wedding circuit. They’re a breath of fresh air in the form of two friends Lior and Yael.

Made in Israel Events_0002 They’re event planners who specialise in producing destination weddings all over Israel. With special consideration to Anglo tastes. They’ll create an amazing big day for you – without you having to worry about language barriers or negotiating with Israeli vendors. And apart from that huge logistical sigh of relief — they also bring style inspiration for a thoroughly modern wedding.

Here at STG we adore Israeli weddings. Aside from its cultural meaning, Israel is a place where the sun shines almost every day of the year; it’s beautiful, exotic, energetic and fun. Perfection.

Yael’s overseas family who came to her own wedding in Israel were head over heels in love with the venue, food and of course the atmosphere. And that’s when it dawned on her that there’s a great interest in destination weddings in Israel. People want to have the ultimate Jewish wedding with an Israeli touch.

Made in Israel Events_0003 But for some it may seem like quite a big number to try and organise and coordinate a wedding abroad. But fear not, help is at hand.

Made in Israel Events specialise in planning and producing events for couples from overseas who want to celebrate their big day in Tel Aviv and beyond. They’ll be there for you from step one, making sure you have your stylish, modern, Israeli wedding without having to worry about a thing.

Made in Israel Events_0006 Anglo meets Israeli customs

You don’t have to worry about the gap between Anglo taste and Israeli customs, as Lior and Yael know both very well.

Yael is originally form South Africa and her family hails from all over the world. Clocking up her experience, she’s been to oodles of weddings in New York, London, South Africa and Australia and has a strong sense of what style Anglo Jews in particular are opting for.

On the other hand, she’s lived in Israel her whole life, so KNOWS Israeli weddings inside out.

Made In Israel Events About Made in Israel Events – Lior and Yael

Lior and Yael decided to create Made in Israel Events after doing such a darn fine job on their own weddings. Really.

Lior got married in 2016 and Yael in 2015. They planned every part of their respective weddings from start to finish. And despite very strict budgets, they both managed to get everything they wanted. And by all accounts, the guests — especially the ones from overseas – are still talking about how super special their weddings were.

Both Lior and Yael enjoyed creating their weddings so much and realised (as did all those invited) that they had a real gift for organising this type of event. And so Made in Israel Events was born.

Made In Israel Events Dream Team

Made in Israel planners Lior and Yael totally inspire each other. They’ve got similar ways of thinking but take a very different approach. They challenge each other and always come up with new innovative ideas and ways to solve problems. They breed energy.

Both are based in Tel Aviv and say they just love “planning something so happy and positive. The fact that we get couples to come and do it in Israel is even more amazing”.

My Wedding Planner, she’s a lawyer!

Lior used to be a lawyer and perhaps because of her training, she’s an excellent negotiator. She also has an impressive background in online marketing, which makes her supremely skilled at finding just the right vendor. Of course at the right price.

If that’s not impressive enough, Lior is also gifted with design. Together with Yael’s awesome knowledge of the Anglo/Israeli weddings – they make a perfect team for Jewish modern couples.

Made in Israel Events_0004 How it works

First thing Lior and Yael do is meet with the couple. If they’re not in Israel, that’s usually via Skype. They get to grips with what the couple’s dream wedding looks like and their budget.

They’ll then find the best suppliers for the couple to choose from. And as most people choosing Israel for their destination wedding wont be familiar with Israeli vendors, culture and language, this is where Made in Israel Events really come into their own. They then simply take care of everything, so you can have a stress-less event.

Made in Israel Events_0003 What do Made in Israel Offer?

Full planning: They’ll plan your event from start to finish, according to your vision.

Partial planning: They’ll help with which ever part you need (venue selection, hiring and managing vendors, provide professional advice etc).

Day of event coordinating: They’ll do whatever you need so you can get ready for your special day without the headache of coordinating all the suppliers.
