Today’s gorgeous Jewish wedding is 100% pure classic elegance, and we are here for it! Atlanta couple Stephanie and Mitchell had the absolute dreamiest glitzy ballroom wedding in white and gold. Combine that with some seriously glam florals in white, an uber-chic gown by Paloma Blanca, and magazine worthy photos from The Decisive Moment and you’ve got it all.
Oh, and did we mention the couple’s beautiful ketubah, which they found on Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Ketubah.com? We adore the contemporary design featuring serene blues, and we’re also obsessed with the fact that Stephanie and Mitchell opted to have their grandparents – his grandmother and her grandfather – sign the ketubah as witnesses. What an incredibly special moment that must have been!
There’s so much more to say about this exquisite wedding, but we’ll leave it to the bride to fill you in on the details…
How we Met
Stephanie, the bride: I was a medical assistant and he was a patient. Two of my friends said in the past we would make a great match and by fate he ended up being a patient where I worked. We got engaged at Piedmont Park – he told me his boss was in town and wanted our dogs to meet at the park. I also needed to look presentable. I had no idea!
A Ballroom Wedding
We got married at The International Hotel in Buckhead. This was our favorite venue in the Atlanta area. I always wanted a ballroom type wedding – this was the perfect place!
White and Gold
Our wedding planner was Laura Maddox from Magnolia Celebrates. She made everything so easy for us. We decided on a white and gold color scheme. I always wanted something simple yet elegant.
A Paloma Blanca Dress
This was actually the first dress that I tried on. It was by Paloma Blanca from White Magnolia
Ceremony
The ceremony was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. It was so special to have our friends and family surrounding us. We decided to read our vows aloud to each other. It was my favorite part of the ceremony, and everyone got to hear about the love Mitchell and I have for each other. If you are on the fence with reading vows out loud I 100% recommend it!
Ketubah
We found the ketubah on Ketubah.com – there were different options with what the ketubah would say but we thankfully agreed on the same one. We also did something unique in having our grandparents sign the ketubah. Mitchell’s grandmother, who is his only grandparent living today, signed for him and my grandfather who is a holocaust survivor signed mine. Having our grandparents sign our ketubah is something Mitchell and I will never forget.
We had our bridal party and all family in the room with us. Having our family and friends in the room watching us sign the ketubah was a last-minute call and was amazing. Something unique, but we loved it.
Our Music Choice
‘Tennessee Whiskey’ by Chris Stapleton was our first dance.
Flowers
An elegant, contemporary and refined wedding celebration with an abundance of lush, white floral including hydrangea, garden roses and peonies. Our florist was Edge Design Group.
Honeymoon
We went to London, Paris and Amsterdam. We used Hedy Marks as our travel agent. 100% recommend.
