Ah, Tuscany – there’s really no place like it. The rolling hills, the sunlight, the food – it’s no wonder Salome, a stylist, and Jonathan, who has his own digital marketing business, chose Florence’s Villa di Maiano for their Jewish wedding.
The whole day positively exudes Tuscan charm from start to finish and we’re obsessed with all the gorgeous details, from the outdoor chuppah to the fabulous florals (don’t miss the epic floral chuppah!) and tablescapes.
The whole day was captured so perfectly by Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Colle Photo. Every shot looks like it could’ve come straight out of a glossy magazine, and needless to say Salome and Jonathan are thrilled with the results.
Now over to the bride, who looked so elegant in her made to measure dress by Parisian designer Nathalie Ethedgui…
How We Met
Salome, the bride: We met on a dating app called “Jswipe.”
A Tuscan Wedding
We got married in Italy in Florence at Villa di Maiano. We chose this destination because it is rather unique and for the charm of Tuscany.
Theme
We hired a wedding planner, Stefania Zen who was extraordinary and managed the wedding from A to Z. We wanted a rustic and classy wedding.
Invitation
I did it myself with keynote while looking at inspiration on Pinterest.
Makeup
My make up artist was Sandra Lovisco from My Wedding Mirror, she is Italian and very talented. I wanted something very natural.
A Nathalie Ethedgui Dress
The dress was made to measure, it came from a designer in Paris named Nathalie Ethedgui. I had a very clear idea of what I liked, and I went to see her with drawings and inspirations.
Shoes
The shoes were from Saint Laurent, and family jewelry
Ceremony & Chuppah
We did a traditional houpa. We had hired an extraordinary singer who brought a lot of magic, his name is Micky Gabay. The best moment of this dance was when I saw my husband under this houpa in his beautiful outfit.
Our music choice
For the wedding music, we have chosen a very special song for the two of us called ‘Ylang ylang’ by FKJ.
Flowers
We wanted something rustic yet elegant, with soft colors.
Photographer
Stefania Zen, our wedding planner, suggested us Colle Photo. We loved their style, and with a team of 3 photographers they were able to capture any moment in the perfect way.
Food
We used Lebonton Catering from Rome. We wanted typically Italian dishes.
Honeymoon
We went to Costa Rica for 3 weeks
