We absolutely love seeing the choices Jewish wedding pros make for their own celebrations – and so naturally we were thrilled to be able to feature the luxe nuptials of Courtney, an NYC and FL-based fashion and wardrobe stylist with a focus on bridal styling, and Jason, a real estate broker.
Courtney curated the day impeccably, and every element reflected her taste and creative vision – from the modern, refined surroundings of their venue, the 1 Hotel in South Beach, to the clean, contemporary chuppah, set against the backdrop of the ocean and surrounded by lush white blooms from the ground up for a one-of-a-kind aesthetic – don’t miss it in the wonderful photos by PS Photography and trailer by Senderey.
And then there’s Courtney’s gown, by beloved Israeli designer and Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Galia Lahav. As a longtime admirer of the designer’s artistry, Courtney was positively smitten from the moment she tried on the Horizon gown. In her words,
The craftsmanship was extraordinary—the silhouette, the structure, the detailing—every element felt elevated, sexy yet chic and original. It was everything I had hoped for and more—timeless, striking, and uniquely me. I felt like all layers of my life added onto a dress, from the dramatic drape, sexy sheer detailed bustier, delicate flower detail with pearl and shimmer.
It was such a perfect expression of Courtney’s style, and we just can’t get over how absolutely smashing she looked in it!

How We Met
Courtney, the bride: Jason grew up with my now brother-in-law and was also good friends with my sister. In 2020, the two teamed up to set me and Jason up on a date—and the rest is history. We hit it off immediately, began dating soon after, and in the spring of 2025, we tied the knot at the 1 Hotel in South Beach.
A South Beach Wedding
Courtney and Jason got married at the 1 Hotel in South Beach on April 5th, 2025—a place that holds deep meaning for them. Over the years, they’ve shared countless special moments in South Florida with Courtney’s family, making it a natural and heartfelt choice for their wedding celebration. Looking ahead, they plan to eventually settle in the area to raise a family, continuing to build memories in a place that already feels like home.
It’s no surprise Courtney chose this setting for such a meaningful celebration—its aesthetic is a natural extension of her own. As a fashion and wardrobe stylist, Courtney’s signature style mirrors the hotel’s vibe: modern, refined, effortlessly chic, and rooted in thoughtful detail. The 1 Hotel South Beach captures the essence of modern luxury—an effortless blend of clean white spaces, natural textures, and warm wood accents that feel both elevated and inviting. Perched right on the beach, the hotel offers stunning ocean views and a serene, laid-back energy that perfectly complements its chic, eco-conscious design. For Courtney and Jason, the beach has always been their happy place—a source of calm, connection, and joy. So naturally, the space’s style, vibe and serenity overlooking the beach just made sense for them.
Modern Romance
Courtney and Jason’s wedding embraced a romantic modern aesthetic, blending soft neutrals, layered textures, and elegant white tones to create a timeless yet stylish atmosphere. The entire celebration was designed to feel elevated and intimate, with every detail thoughtfully curated to reflect Courtney’s chic, fashion-forward vision, supported by Jason!
Working closely with Creative Touch Party and Xquisite Events, both Florida-based, expert Stylist Courtney helped transform the outdoor ceremony into a dreamy, picturesque setting. The celebration continued in the ballroom, which was transformed from a neutral blank canvas into a warm, candlelit haven, with flowing drapery and atmospheric lighting setting (Jacob Co Lighting) the tone for a night full of romance and style. Every element—from the florals to the fashion to the ambiance—reflected Courtney’s refined taste and creative vision, resulting in a wedding that was as thoughtfully detailed as it was unforgettable. To make it even more personable, the coordinated a “JC” logo, on the dance floor, in weekend gear, napkins and more touches throughout the weekend!
Invitation/Stationery
Our invitations were thoughtfully designed with Creative Touch Party Design. It was all about our JC logo and the pearl shimmer, I wanted it to be timeless, chic and set the mood for the wedding weekend.
Hair + Makeup
Cassie from Ivy & Lace did my hair, Kate Blake Team did my makeup.
A Galia Lahav Dress
As a fashion stylist, I approached wedding dress shopping with an open mind—excited to explore, but without a fixed idea of “the one.” I tried on a wide range of silhouettes, initially leaning into one specific style before ultimately heading in a completely different direction. It was a true journey—unexpected, emotional, and so special.
I’ve always admired Galia Lahav’s artistry, so having the opportunity to explore their gowns during Bridal Fashion Week felt surreal. What made it even more meaningful was meeting the designers in person and working one-on-one with them to select my gown. I visited several iconic ateliers—Galia Lahav, Lee Petra Grebenau, Berta, and others—but it was a brand new Galia Lahav collection that stole my heart.
The moment I tried on the Horizon Gown, I just knew. As an Israeli designer, Galia Lahav also carried cultural significance for me, adding another layer of connection to the experience.
My mom and sister came with me for the experience, which made it all the more special. My sister was also a Galia Lahav bride, so we already shared a deep appreciation for the brand’s artistry.
I was honored to be the first bride to purchase the Horizon, which made it feel even more special. The craftsmanship was extraordinary—the silhouette, the structure, the detailing—every element felt elevated, sexy yet chic and original. On my wedding day, wearing that gown, I felt confident, elegant, and completely myself. It was everything I had hoped for and more—timeless, striking, and uniquely me. I felt like all layers of my life added onto a dress, from the dramatic drape, sexy sheer detailed bustier, delicate flower detail with pearl and shimmer. I decided not to be traditional and wear a veil, the dress was the moment. I felt like a little girl who has grown into who she was through style- representing everything I had dreamed of, wrapped into one unforgettable gown.
The bridal party wore coordinated pearlized ivory looks that beautifully complemented my gown and Jason’s impeccably tailored white tuxedo jacket.
Accessories
I chose not to wear a veil on my wedding day—a decision that felt very true to my personal style and the vision I had for my look. With the intricate detailing and dramatic length of my train, I felt that a veil would compete with, rather than complement, the gown. I wanted the craftsmanship and design of the dress to shine on its own, and going without a veil allowed every detail to be seen and appreciated as I walked down the aisle.
Shoes
Shoes were from Jimmy Choo!
Bridesmaids
As a stylist, I thoughtfully curated every look for my bridal party—from chic resortwear-inspired pajamas for getting ready, to pearlized ivory dresses by Shona Joy for the ceremony. I sourced the iconic white Louis Vuitton gown that Zendeya wore on the red carpet for my mom to wear. The entire wedding party was curated in white/ivory! Each bridesmaid wore a different silhouette, allowing them to feel uniquely themselves while still complementing the overall aesthetic. The result was a cohesive yet personal bridal party look that felt effortlessly elegant and true to my fashion-forward vision.
Ceremony & Chuppah
Courtney and Jason’s chuppah was a stunning reflection of their modern, romantic wedding aesthetic. Set against the backdrop of the ocean, the structure itself was clean and contemporary in design—elevated in both placement and style, offering breathtaking views of the water as they exchanged vows.
Rather than opting for traditional florals draped from the top, Courtney chose a more unique and artistic approach. The entire chuppah was surrounded by lush blooms from the ground up, creating the feeling of standing in a garden of petals. It was an immersive, almost ethereal moment—soft, romantic, and intentionally designed to feel both grounded and dreamlike.
The floral selection was a carefully curated mix of white orchids, peonies, anemones, and other delicate blooms. Each choice not only added texture and dimension but also subtly echoed the intricate details of Courtney’s gown, tying everything together with an elegant and thoughtful touch. The result was a chuppah that felt intimate, modern, and beautifully one-of-a-kind—just like the love story it celebrated.
Courtney made her entrance walking down the aisle solo to an acoustic version of Young & Beautiful by Lana Del Rey—a moment that felt both powerful and deeply personal. Halfway down, she was joined by her parents, who walked her the rest of the way toward her dream man, Jason. With the ocean as their backdrop, a chuppah surrounded by a garden of petals, and music floating in the air, the ceremony felt like stepping into a surreal fairytale—timeless, emotional, and truly unforgettable.
Ketubah
When choosing my ketubah, I knew I wanted something modern and timeless. I was drawn to designs that were neutral yet elevated, with pearlized accents in line with our ongoing color scheme throughout the wedding era. After exploring countless options, I came across the perfect piece by Happy Project Shop on Etsy: a custom made modern ketubah that was a true reflection of our style—elegant, understated, and meaningful.
Our music choice
For the wedding reception, we brought in an incredible band—Libido from Tropics Entertainment—who brought the energy, talent, and personality we were dreaming of. We worked closely with them to curate the perfect playlist, blending classic throwbacks and sing-along favorites with current pop hits that kept both our friends and families on the dance floor all night.
To keep the party going, we transitioned to a DJ for the after-party—ensuring the vibe stayed high-energy and fun until the very last song. It was the perfect mix of live performance and late-night party, and truly one of the most unforgettable parts of our wedding weekend.
Our wedding entrance was “Gimme Gimme Gimme” by Abba remix, so naturally we had everyone waving napkins on the dance floor to hype up our entrance running into the ballroom, and then did our first dance to an acoustic version of “Came here for love” by Ella Eyre and Sigala. It was a HIT! And no we did not take dance lessons, went natural and in the moment and wouldn’t want it any other way.
Flowers
Floral selections by Xquisite Events included a stunning mix of orchids, peonies, anemones, and other carefully chosen white blooms that brought a sense of romance, refinement, and softness to the day, also playing off my gown’s details.
Photographer and videographer
When it came to choosing a photographer, I knew I wanted someone with a creative, editorial eye—someone who could capture the emotion of the day while also making it feel stylish, elevated, and timeless. It was also important to me to find someone local to Florida who was already familiar with our venue, and that’s when I came across PS Photography. I had been following her work for a while and loved her blend of fashion-forward angles and authentic storytelling, especially with a partner. As a bonus, she had photographed multiple weddings at the 1 Hotel South Beach, which made me feel even more confident in her.
Before the big day, we did an engagement shoot as a trial—and it couldn’t have been more natural and fun. I brought my vision of renting a vintage car and shooting around Palm Beach Island to life, mixing fashion and fun as we moved from the streets to the beach. Jason and I instantly clicked with Susie and she completely understood our style, our vibe, and most importantly captured our love and deep connection. The way we worked together just felt effortless. She captured our wedding weekend in a way that was not only beautiful but also true to who we are and the deep love we have for eachother and those surrounding us.
Senderey was our videographer & Follow The Bride was our content creator. My biggest takeaway was how important it was to have that content creator, as someone who loves unique angles and every moment captured, they didn’t miss a beat. And they sent over all the footage within 24 hours so we could relive the moment! Highly Recc “Follow The Bride” content creators.
Food and cake
The 1 Hotel South beach catered everything in house and was unbelievable!!! Truly the best wedding food ever everyone was raving about it all weekend. We did a steak and lobster dinner for the wedding night, our two favorite foods.
Our wedding cake was custom made by Earth & Sugar, and it was everything we dreamed of—both in taste and design. We chose a funfetti flavor with classic white icing, our personal favorite, for a playful yet timeless touch. The cake was finished with a beautifully crafted sugar flower on top, thoughtfully designed to echo the iconic florals from our wedding weekend. It was the perfect sweet ending to a celebration full of style, love, and intentional details.

Extra Details
One of the most unique elements was the custom seating chart installation—an artistic interpretation of the iconic Chanel camellia flower, a subtle nod to Courtney’s love for timeless elegance and high fashion.
As a stylist, Courtney approached her wedding with the same creative precision she brings to her work. She created detailed moodboards for her planner and vendor teams to clearly communicate her vision—ensuring that every element, from florals to lighting, aligned seamlessly with her romantic and modern aesthetic. She even extended her styling expertise to her guests, curating a personalized fashion moodboard to guide outfit choices for the weekend’s events. From the chic, all-white “South Beach Soirée” welcome party on night one to the elegant black-tie wedding the following evening, Courtney made sure each moment was not only beautifully designed, but effortlessly stylish.
Honeymoon
We stayed in Florida for the remainder of the week after our wedding to relax and soak in the highs of it all. We are planning a big trip to Greece and Italy end of July. Tune in to my social media @Curated__bycourt for all the details of the places we stay, restaurants/activities!
Advice to couples currently planning their wedding
As someone who lives and breathes style and creativity, I knew I wanted to be fully involved in planning our wedding. I had a clear vision—every detail from the florals to the fashion to the overall vibe—and worked closely with each of our vendors to bring it to life. I poured so much thought, time, and love into the planning process, making sure it felt uniquely us.
But when the weekend finally arrived, I made a conscious decision to let go. I fully trusted my planner and vendor team, and allowed myself to be completely present. I wasn’t worried about the details—I had already done the work. I was just focused on soaking in every single moment.
One of the most powerful and emotional parts of the weekend was looking around and seeing all of our favorite people, from all different chapters of our lives, in one place—there for us, to celebrate our love. That’s the magic of a wedding that no detail can replicate.
If there’s one piece of advice I’d share, it’s this: don’t obsess over the little things once the day arrives. No one is going to remember exactly how the table was set or what shade of linen you chose. They’ll remember the joy, the energy, the love between the bride and groom, and the fun they had celebrating with you. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.
I cannot recommend enough creating moodboards to visually lay out your visions to vendors. From decor to lighting to scenery and outfits, I thoughtfully curated everything with my Curated by Court lookbooks and now continue to work with brides and wedding guests and even event planners to help make their visions come to life through my curated moodboards.
