Ella and Matt’s Elegant Jewish Wedding at New West End Synagogue and One Marylebone, London, UK
Ella and Matt’s fabulous Jewish wedding took place at two of London’s most iconic venues: they held their chuppah at the fabulously ornate 19th-century New West End Synagogue in Bayswater before moving on (vto One Marylebone in Great Portland Street for the reception
Following the ceremony our guests were taken to the reception venue in classic London buses. Finding the party venue was a much tougher challenge than the search for our shul.

We love that Ella and Matt chose to work with amazing acoustic roaming band and Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Balagan! This incredible group – formed by another beloved Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor, Sensation Band (who also performed, keeping the dance floor packed all night long in their signature style) – is the UK’s first roaming band to offer Jewish sets, and we can’t get enough of the fun, personalized vibe they bring to any big day.
STG Brides Club member Ella and Matt say booking Balagan was the best wedding planning decision they made, and we’re not at all surprised – they are a truly incredible group!

So obviously the music at this wedding earns top marks… but believe it or not, that’s only the tip of the iceberg of this wonderful day. First off, we can’t get over the fact that Matt built the couple’s birch wood chuppah as a tribute to his late grandfather who taught him about woodwork (and how sweet is it that after the wedding the pair donated it to a nearby synagogue for other couples who may need it?).

Ivi and Ben’s Jewish Wedding at Kimpton Fitzroy London
There are so many gorgeous hotels beloved by London Jewish couples, but our all-time favorite has got to be Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Kimpton Fitzroy London, where Ivi and Ben held their magical Jewish wedding.

We’re proud to say that Smashing The Glass Brides Club member Ivi found Kimpton Fitzroy London right here on STG, and from the beginning, the couple fell head over heels for everything about this venue, from the way it combines opulence with warmth to the gorgeous high-ceilinged ballroom where the chuppah took place to the ultra-attentive personalized service the staff provided every step of the way. Ivi describes the Kimpton Fitzroy as an “absolute gem,” and we couldn’t agree with her more!

Jos and Daniel’s Jewish Wedding at Dartmouth House
We’re obsessed with the Jewish wedding of our beautiful Brides Club member Jos at London’s Dartmouth House!

We so loved having Jos in Brides Club, where she made real-life friends she’s still connected with post-wedding and found some of her fabulous vendors, including their videographer Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Adrian Stone and planner Katy Cresner.

We’re also in awe of the couple’s florals by Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Blue Sky Flowers. Jos and Daniel chatted with founder Liz about their preferences and then left her to run the show… and they were absolutely blown away by the results, as are we! The duo also loved that Liz donates flowers leftover at the end of the night to Floral Angels, so that other people can enjoy them!

Lara and Dan’s Jewish Wedding at Hackney Town Hall
We are seriously obsessed with the Art Deco style of today’s fabulous London Jewish wedding. Lara and Dan drew inspiration from the architectural stylings of their venue, Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Hackney Town Hall (seriously, check out their ceremony space — we’re in awe of all those glass walls, exposed brick, and high ceilings).

Lovely Lara continued the Art Deco theme with her gorgeous beaded gown from Rosa Clara, and Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Blue Sky Flowers made the duo’s dream florals a reality, adding a bit of a wild side and an element of contemporary chic to the day.

Lara reports that one of the couple’s most enjoyable wedding planning tasks consisted of meeting wonderful Liz of Blue Sky Flowers at New Covent Garden flower market and walking around with her to pick their preferred flowers!

Everything about the Jewish wedding of Charlotte, a much-loved member of our Brides Club for Jewish Brides, and James is pure #weddinggoals.

Not that you can really go wrong when you get married at Smashing The Glass Recommended Venue The Brewery. Though the location could hardly be more central, this is not your run-of-the-mill London venue — with its flexible spaces and vintage architectural touches like exposed brick walls, wood-beamed ceilings, The Brewery somehow manages to have a ton of character while also serving as an amazing canvas for wedding dreams of all stripes.

Like, for instance, recreating an outdoor Tuscan wedding indoors in London. Sounds impossible, right? But with the help of long banquet tables, romantic lighting, and seriously elegant florals (how cool is the high/low tabletop decor scheme?!) we think these two managed to pull it off.
So there you have it! If you’re planning a London Jewish wedding of your own, we’d love to hear about it in the comments!
