Rebecca and Emmanuel’s Andalusian Fantasy Ashkenazi-Sephardi Jewish Wedding at Villa Luisa, Seville, Spain
We love it when a couple lets their Jewish wedding locale set the stage for an ultra-memorable celebration – which is exactly what Parisian duo Rebecca, a physiatrist, and Emmanuel, an epidemiologist, did when they chose to make it official in Seville, Spain!

The pair chose Andalusia not only for its fabulous East-meets-West architecture and delectable cuisine, but also for its rich Jewish history, in tribute to the bride’s Sephardic heritage.

And their amazing wedding planner, Charlotte Ricard-Quesada from Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor La Fête – who Rebecca and Emmanuel found right here on Smashing The Glass – brought their dreams to life exquisitely – on a super tight timeline, no less! Charlotte’s fluency in Spanish and experience planning weddings in Seville made the process a breeze, and she connected the pair with many of their fabulous vendors – including their breathtaking venue Villa Luisa, which captures the splendor of old Andalusia in all its glory.

Jade and Andy’s Cabana Chic Jewish Wedding with a Mirrored Chuppah at the Park Hyatt, Mallorca, Spain
HOW dreamy is Jade and Andy’s destination Jewish wedding in marvelous Mallorca?! Their venue, Park Hyatt Mallorca, is just BEYOND — it may be a hotel, but it feels like an ultra-glam villa. Of course, the stunning natural surroundings — mountains AND oceans — don’t hurt.

We’re obsessed with the super cool mirrored silver chuppah — cleverly set up to reflect the gorgeous grove of olive trees in the sunken garden surrounding the ceremony space! We also love how Jade and Andy opted to seat their guests in a square formation on all sides of the chuppah, to enhance the intimate feel of the day — such a nice idea, especially if you’re having a smaller wedding like these two did.

Weddings don’t come much more photogenic than this one, and Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Denee Motion absolutely made the most of the cinematic surroundings — the aerial shot that opens his epic trailer is unforgettable.

Georgia and Joel’s big day is really something, from start to finish. The London couple fell in love with their venue, La Cabane, as soon as they saw the stunning backdrop of the sea – what an incredible view for the chuppah!

And speaking of the chuppah – how breathtaking was Georgie and Joel’s, with lots of unstructured gypsophila, white wisteria, and plenty of greenery?!

Gemma and Jamie’s Jewish Wedding with Spanish Touches at Casa De La Era, Marbella, Spain
Gemma and Jamie may live in England, but they love spending time in the south of Spain – so when it came time to plan their Jewish wedding, Marbella was a natural fit.

They found the perfect venue in Casa De La Era, overlooking the mountains and sea, and incorporated touches of Spanish culture and tradition into just about every aspect of the day, from the chuppah – decorated with lemons, pink bougainvillea and leaves – to the food: Gemma and Jamie found a caterer who was able to provide kosher renditions of traditional Spanish dishes including paella!

The favors were mini bottles of the pair’s favorite Spanish olive oil, and even the bride’s gown came from Santos and Eva in Marbella.

Ruthie and Dan’s Garden Jewish Wedding at El Molino Del Duque, Marbella, Spain
We’re obsessed with the gorgeous Jewish wedding of Dan to Ruthie, the marketing manager at Smashing The Glass Recommended Venue Kimpton Fitzroy London. Ruthie’s Australian, Dan’s Scottish, they live in London, met in Tel Aviv, and got married in sunny Spain (the closest they could come to matching that glorious Aussie sunshine without making their guests fly to the other side of the world) — how’s that for an international wedding?!

We love how much attention went into the details of this very special day – don’t miss the eucalyptus chuppah (in honor of Ruthie’s Australian background!).

And we love that the couple placed top priority not only on music for their reception, but also for the ceremony —and it doesn’t get any more special than soulful Jewish tunes from STG Recommended Vendor Jonny Mosesson, who added that extra bit of wow factor to an already incredible ceremony.
So there you have it! If you’re planning a Jewish wedding in Spain, we’d love to hear about it in the comments!
