10 Beautiful Jewish New York Wedding Venues

02/06/2022 by Karen Cinnamon

There’s no place like New York City for a Jewish wedding. The Big Apple is chock full of options to suit couples of all tastes and styles – and nowhere is that more evident than when it comes to venues!

While you might associate NYC with glitzy ballroom Jewish weddings – and it’s certainly got plenty of amazing options for those – the city that never sleeps is also full of hidden gems, from outdoor garden venues that’ll have you feeling like you’ve been whisked away to the country to the edgiest converted warehouses and factories.

In fact, there are SO many gorgeous Jewish wedding venue choices that we really struggled narrowing ourselves down to just 10 – but we hope you’ll take this list of just a few of our favorites as a starting point.

We’re absolutely in love with the glamor and elegance of the Rainbow Room. The sparkling chandeliers, the endless views (65 stories above Rockefeller Center!), the rotating dance floor – Jewish wedding venues don’t come any more timelessly NYC than the Rainbow Room.

2. Celebrate at Snug Harbor

Looking for a New York Jewish wedding venue that feels a world away while keeping within the geographic confines of the five boroughs? Celebrate at Snug Harbor is a hidden oasis featuring 83 acres of lush gardens on Staten Island, just a a quick ferry ride from lower Manhattan and a short drive from Brooklyn and Queens. Plus, unusually for a city venue, Celebrate at Snug Harbor’s got ample parking! There are SO many beautiful spots to choose from, but there’s no place like the Tuscan Garden – modeled after the Villa Gamberaia in Florence – for a gorgeous outdoor chuppah, and we guarantee your guests really will feel like they’ve been whisked off to Italy.

3. Carnegie Hall

If you love the idea of holding your Jewish wedding in a bona fide NYC landmark, you can’t do much better than Carnegie Hall! Just two blocks south of Central Park (there’s even a landscaped rooftop terrace with glorious views of the park!(, the location is unbeatable – and the mix of historical touches and modern finishes are sheer perfection.

4. Cipriani 42nd St

Midtown’s Gotham Hall is a Jewish wedding venue that wows –  we’re talking show stopping 70-foot ceiling with an ornate stained glass skylight in the Grand Ballroom, and smaller event spaces include a lounge, a mezzanine level that overlooks the main hall, dressing rooms, and even a private entrance. Plus, at 9,000 square feet, the luxe Grand Ballroom can accommodate quite the crowd!

6. 501 Union St

Located in a historic building that once served as a classic car restoration shop, 501 Union’s got tons of natural light, an unmistakably Brooklyn vibe, and an exquisite covered atrium perfect for your chuppah – among its many other awesome features! Dress it up or revel in its pared-down industrial chic, you can’t go wrong!
