A Pronovias Bride for a Timelessly Elegant Jewish Wedding at Cochav Hayam, Caesarea, Israel

19/01/2026 by Karen Cinnamon

Charlotte and Jonah, Cochav Hayam, Caesarea, Israel

Weddings in Israel are so special, and London couple Charlotte and Jonah had one of the best! To start with, they picked the magical Cochav Hayam as their venue – in the bride’s words, “Sunset beach backdrop, gorgeous grounds, and unbelievable food made it a no-brainer.”

The duo opted to work with Yana Andreev of Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Craspedia Events to make planning from abroad “not just possible, but genuinely fun and exciting.” Charlotte and Jonah can’t stop raving about how great Yana and her team were, both in the leadup and on the big day itself.

And then there’s the chuppah. The pair went for an elegant arched all-white floral chuppah set against the venue’s stunning ocean backdrop, creating the most wonderfully romantic ambience. Don’t miss it in the beautiful photos by People Photography!

There’s so much more to say about this very special Jewish wedding – like, how elegant did Charlotte look in her princess ballgown from Pronovias?! – but we’ll leave it to the bride to take it from here…

How We Met

Charlotte, the bride: We met at Cambridge University at the Jsoc on the very first Shabbat of term — I was a fresher, he was a third-year, but we didn’t start dating until a few months later!

A Dana Harel Bride for an Enchanted Boho Beach Jewish Wedding at Al Hayam, Caesarea, Israel

18/08/2023 by Karen Cinnamon

Amy-Dan-Al-Hayam-Cesarea-Israel

You’ll never believe the wild story behind this absolute stunner of a Jewish wedding! Amy, a social media manager (and the daughter of beloved Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Toastmaster Jango!), and Dan, a freelance marketing consultant, had the most gorgeous Israeli Jewish wedding at Caesarea’s Al Hayam  – but until two days prior, they were actually planning on marrying at a totally different venue in the south of Israel!

A security situation in the south meant they had to change things around at the very last minute – but luckily they had an amazing planner, Yana from Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Craspedia Events, on hand to save the day. In the span of 48 hours, Yana secured Al Hayam for the couple – and they ended up loving it even more than their original choice. Have a scroll through the exquisite photos by Your Story Wedd and you’ll see why!

Understandably, the couple can’t stop raving about Yana. In Amy’s words, “She really understood my vision, she is so knowledgeable about the industry and is just the best person ever! She is so calming and really is there to help and guide you through the process. I can’t recommend her enough!”

Now over to Amy, who looked simply sublime in her gown by Israeli designer Dana Harel Design…

How We Met

Amy, the bride: We met at a mutual friend’s birthday in London. Dan was already living in Israel at the time and I was actually planning on moving to Tel Aviv later that year. We kept in touch and then I moved nine months later and the rest is history!

A Magical, Colorful Jewish Wedding with a Missing Ketubah at Bayaar, Hadera, Israel

28/02/2020 by Karen Cinnamon

Jewish wedding Bayaar, Hadera, Israel

A Disney-inspired fairy tale forest-themed Jewish wedding? Um, yes please! Everything about Shelly and Harel’s big day just exudes joy, and we are for it.

We adore the way the couple’s planner and designer, Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Yana of Craspedia Events, brought the pair’s vision of a colorful, youthful celebration to life – a true necessity given that they’re both medical students! The whole day was a riot of whimsical, bright flowers, fairy lights, and offbeat vintage touches. Yana even took the couple out to the flower farm so they could choose their blooms themselves! Don’t miss the wonderful photos from Noa Magger and Amir Ganun.

Given the theme, it’s no surprise the bride looked like the perfect fairy tale princess – we can’t get enough of her enchanting hair and makeup by Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Keren Rimon, chosen for her expertise working with long, thick, wavy hair. She really knows what she’s doing, because Shelly reports that her glam look didn’t budge all evening – even after dancing!

All seems pretty perfect, right? Well, it was… except for one thing: groom Harel forgot the couple’s ketubah at his parents’ house on the big day! Luckily, their wonderful venue Bayaar was prepared with a backup ketubah kept on hand for just such a situation – crisis averted! It just goes to show, there’s always going to be that one thing (or maybe a couple things) that won’t go to plan on the day. But they won’t make your wedding any less wonderful – and they may even leave you with a fun story or two that you’ll be recounting for years to come!

Now over to the bride…

Forest Vibes

Shelly, the bride: We got married at Bayaar, Hadera. We chose the venue because we wanted to have a “forest” vibe wedding. We both loved the nature with its green and brown colours and the magical feeling it gives.

A Laid-Back Destination Jewish Wedding with a Rugelach Tower at The Lawrence in Old Jaffa, Israel

25/11/2019 by Karen Cinnamon

Jewish Wedding The Lawrence in Old Jaffa in Israel_0125
Is there anything better than a Jewish wedding in picturesque Old Jaffa? Between the historic architecture and the ocean views and the chill Israeli vibes, we’re pretty sure the answer is a resounding no! If you don’t believe us, just look at the incredible photos of STG Brides Club member Dianne, who is completing a surgical residency, and lawyer groom Shaya’s big day captured by mega-talented Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Ronen Boidek – according to the couple, booking him was one of the very best decisions they made during wedding planning. And we couldn’t agree more!

And while you’re at it, check out the awesome trailer from videographer Vladimir Tkach.

With such a stunning setting, Dianne and Shaya knew they wanted to keep their décor simple, favoring greenery and white florals that complemented the historic space – and they found the absolute  perfect person for the job in Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Yana from Craspedia Events. We’re totally obsessed with the bouquets, centerpieces, and decorations she created.

And we’re positively drooling over the delicious menu from Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Maasia Catering, who put together a delectable modern Mediterranean menu, complete with fun interactive food stations.

Oh, and we can’t turn you over to Dianne before we tell you about one more awesome touch: instead of a traditional cake, Dianne and Shaya opted for a rugelach tower. Yes, you heard that right – in honor of the groom’s favorite sweets from Jerusalem’s famed Marzipan Bakery, these two celebrated with three tiers of chocolate and cinnamon rugelach goodness – with a small cake on top, for tradition’s sake.

Ok, now over to the bride!

How we met

Dianne, the bride: While I am from Vancouver and Shaya is from Montreal, we met in Toronto while I was doing an elective as a medical student and Shaya was there for work. We did not think we were going to see each other again after I flew home, but here we are!

An Avital Saporta Bride for a Summer-Themed Galilee Jewish Secular Wedding at Halomot Naftali Hotel, Sde Eliezer, Israel

15/09/2017 by Karen

Jewish wedding Halomot Naftali Hotel Sde Eliezer Israel_0084
Happy Friday! We’re taking a trip to the sensational, swooping landscape of the gorgeous Galilee region of Israel to celebrate the secular Jewish wedding ceremony of Liron and Shlomi.

Renowned for its stunning views and ruggedly handsome visage (that really is the only way to describe it) the north of Israel is the perfect backdrop for a summer celebration, and Liron and Shlomi decided, wisely, to make a full weekend of it, and to make good use of the hotel’s pool. We definitely don’t blame them!

With a bright, summery color scheme of whites, yellows and purples, the gorgeous day was full of everything we adore about Israeli weddings.

Bride Liron looked incredible in her lacey, light and Avital Saporta gown, showcasing once again why we’re such big fans of Israeli designers and their bold, sexy and flattering looks.

The emotions and details of the day were captured by photographer, Lior Rotstein, and we’ll pass you over to bride, Liron for all of the behind-the-scenes info on how the wedding came together.
