Are you looking for a cooler-than-cool, only-in-NYC spot for your Jewish wedding? Maxwell Social, a new social club nestled in the heart of Tribeca, is the answer.

With 8000 square feet of event spaces spread across two floors, providing space for up to 400 standing guests, this is the ultimate destination for a luxe New York City wedding like none other.

Luxe Spaces

Boasting lavish interiors and gorgeous details throughout – seriously, each room is so perfectly curated you won’t even need to think about decorating – Maxwell Social has spaces perfect for the chuppah, tisch, and badeken, as well as cocktail style receptions, seated dinners, parties, and breakfast or wedding brunches.

The venue also comes equipped with beautiful glassware and tableware, though external rentals are also welcome.

The space is full of design-forward details like wood panelling, custom Maxwell skirt chandeliers, and hand-painted shaker kitchens with Jennair stoves and leathered marble kitchen island.

There’s even a two-story library and custom curved secret bookcase door leading into the Garden Room with a Victorian ceramic tile carpet.

The speakeasy area is equipped with a luxury clawfoot bathtub, DJ booth, fireplace and billiards table.

Life of the Party

Named after the legendary 1920s socialite Elsa Maxwell (check out the awesome hand-painted wallpaper inspired by her life!), who was known for bringing together royalty, celebs, and intellectuals at her epic dinner parties, Maxwell Social is a seriously in-demand venue: it’s already hosted the CAA’s Tonys Party, Tommy Hilfiger for fashion week, The New York Times, Andy Roddick & One White Street, Spotify, Netflix, Matt Damon with Elevate, and Anna Wintour with Jonathan Cohen, among others.

The social club is home to a flourishing community of Jewish members and hosts epic Shabbat dinners (that turn into dance parties) every month, and has also hosted numerous Israeli fundraisers. Membership isn’t required to rent out Maxwell Social for your wedding – although once you get a taste of this fabulous space, you just might want to keep coming back!

A Match Made in Tribeca

And we can’t go without mentioning Maxwell Social‘s oh-so-chic location in Tribeca. Treat your out-of-town guests to the best NYC has to offer, and enjoy the neighborhood’s blend of history, charm, and luxe touches. And let’s not forget how photogenic the streets of Tribeca are when it comes to those bridal portraits!

Catering Choices

When it comes to food, choose a menu of passed food or a seated dinner from one of Maxwell Social’s recommended chefs, or bring in your own catering – kosher caterers very welcome!
