An EddyK Bride for a Timelessly Elegant Outdoor Jewish Wedding at Ronit Farm, Kfar Shmaryahu, Israel

Lihi-and-Eitan-Ronit-Farm-Israel

This is one dreamy wedding! Israeli couple Lihi, a Neuroimmunology PhD student, and Eitan, an Electrical and Computer Science Engineer, married amidst the lush greenery of Ronit Farm, and the whole day was the most exquisite celebration of their love.

A venue as gorgeous as Ronit Farm doesn’t need much in the way of décor, and Lihi and Eitan opted to keep things focused on highlighting the natural beauty of their venue.

The couple chose Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Jossef Si to photograph their big day, and they couldn’t have been more thrilled with their choice. In Lihi’s words,

Jossef Si is the best, most talented photographer, and we knew he would be our photographer before we were even engaged. His talent surpassed any other photographer we saw and it all came true on the day of the wedding. Jossef captured every moment in such an effortless and organic manner that we felt the emotion with each photo.

Read on for more in Lihi’s own words…

How We Met

Lihi, the bride: Almost 8 years ago, we were set up by our close friends, Romi & Gabriel, and have never looked back since. We have gone through everything since then, from being in the Israeli Air Force, to studies from Bachelor’s all the way to PhD, made a home for ourselves, and many adventurous trips all around the world.

Venue

We got married at Ronit Farm, a beautiful venue that we fell in love with the second we walked in. It is very lush, featuring a lot of greenery which was very important to us.

Timeless Romance

We planned the entire wedding ourselves, did our research on every little thing to get it all right. We aimed for a timeless elegant look and wanted to highlight the natural beauty of our venue, while adding some seasonal, classic and romantic decor.

Since we have been together for so long, we really wanted this to be a celebration of our love. That’s why our ceremony was so important to us, and we made sure our closest family and friends took part in it. Our vows were our favorite part were we had a chance to share our love with one another, surrounded by our loved ones. Our parents also had the most beautiful speeches and throughout the entire day everyone could really feel all the love.

We decided to serve popsicles on the dance floor to cool off while still being able to dance the night way.

Hair + Makeup

Lihi knew that she wanted to look elegant and timeless on the day. So when she saw Shani Shuster‘s clean and precise up dos she knew she found the one. Shani recommended Eli for make up, where he highlighted Lihi’s natural beauty, making her look flawless and elegant.

An EddyK Dress

Lihi chose her dress from Wed Boutique in Fort Worth, Texas, as that’s where she grew up till the age of 18. When she was visiting her parents she came to their beautiful store where she fell in love with the “Courtney” dress from designer EddyK. She loved the clean lines, where she looked timeless and elegant, highlighting her natural beauty.

Shoes

Lihi chose to wear the “Platform Sandal” by Margaux which specialize in handmade heels which kept her feet feeling great the entire day. Eitan chose to wear the “Dean Oxford” by Beckett Simonon who also specialize in handmade shoes that are elegant and comfortable.

Bridesmaids

My beautiful sister, Amit, was my maid of honor and helped me so much. She wore the “Luna Gown” in baby blue by NBD.

Ceremony & Chuppah

We wanted to have a very egalitarian chuppah featuring our closest loved ones. So Eitan’s best friend from elementary school, Gabrial, who set us up, led the ceremony and blessed us. Our rabbi followed with a beautiful and dignified ceremony where our closest family took part in the 7 blessings. Our witnesses were also our closest friends, Liam and Yair.

We ended the ceremony by saying heartfelt vows to one another. Our favorite part of the ceremony was feeling all the love around us. Our parents who stood with us at the chuppah alongside our sisters did not have a dry eye the entire time. It was very special for us to feel all the love around us, and speak from the heart to one another.

Our music choice

We booked our DJ before we even had a wedding date. Dudu Pariz is the most talented DJ we have ever met. We met Dudu at our friends’ wedding, and since then we’d been in contact with him. Dudu made sure that everyone was on the dance floor the entire night, playing music to appeal to everyone, young and old, from disco, to early 2000’s to current music.

Flowers

Our flower colors were peach, violet, pink, white and greens, with roses, eucalyptus, prairie gentian, and carnations. Our designer and florist Inbal Yanai made our dream a reality with so much precision and style. She made the venue feel warm and inviting with lots of flowers and candles.

Photographer and videographer

Jossef Si is the best, most talented photographer, and we knew he would be our photographer before we were even engaged. We fell in love with his photos and followed him on Instagram years before. His talent surpassed any other photographer we saw and it all came true on the day of the wedding. Jossef captured every moment in such an effortless and organic manner that we felt the emotion with each photo.

Jossef recommended our videographer – Nir Tenenbaum who is also very talented and captured every single moment throughout the entire day. They made the best, most synchronized and talented team we could have wished for.

Honeymoon

We are planning a 6 week honeymoon to Japan, Vietnam and Thailand. We decided to go all out since we will be celebrating Eitan’s graduation as well. We chose these countries since we have never been to Asia and wanted to enjoy our time together and be adventurous.

Advice to couples currently planning their wedding

It might seem daunting but at the end of the day your wedding is a celebration of your love so don’t sweat the small stuff. Just be in the moment together and enjoy yourselves. Just try to be as organized as you can up until the wedding. That’s what really helped us take control of everything since we did it all ourselves.
