We’re totally and completed obsessed with Emily and Louis’s timelessly romantic London Jewish wedding at the Corinthia.
To craft the day of their dreams from start to finish, the duo turned to the best of the best: Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Elegante by Michelle J, who planned and coordinated the entire wedding. In Emily’s words,
From the very beginning Michelle understood our vision and guided us through every step with her unmatched expertise. She made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze for us and we genuinely looked forward to each meeting.
Emily and Louis opted to work with another fabulous Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor, Dimitria Jordan, on their wedding stationery. Dimitria’s style was, in the bride’s words,
a perfect fit for our elegant and timeless theme. She patiently worked to get everything right for us, and we’re so appreciative of that. She did a bespoke illustration of our venue, which featured on both our invites and our wedding day stationery.
Photographer James Mason captured the day so beautifully – and we’re in love with Emily’s glam gown by Suzanne Neville. Keep reading for the rest of the story in the bride’s own words…
A Corinthia Wedding
Emily, the bride: As soon as Louis and I walked in, we instinctively knew that Corinthia London was our wedding venue. We loved how airy and modern yet timeless the hotel felt. The ballroom is beautiful, with high ceilings and so much character in the details. It was everything we could have wanted for our London wedding, and it was a very easy decision!
Planned to Perfection
Michelle Jacobs and her team from Elegante by Michelle planned and coordinated our entire wedding. From the very beginning Michelle understood our vision and guided us through every step with her unmatched expertise. She made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze for us and we genuinely looked forward to each meeting. Our theme was elegant, timeless and romantic – white roses, foliage and lots of candles was the vision.
Stunning Stationery
The invitations and wedding day stationery by Dimitria Jordan were all a perfect fit for our elegant and timeless theme. She patiently worked to get everything right for us, and we’re so appreciative of that. She did a bespoke illustration of our venue, which featured on both our invites and our wedding day stationery.
Hair + Makeup
Makeup artist Natasha De Cazalet – just the best! So kind and lovely while being incredibly talented. Carly Williams hair – exceptionally professional and a dream to have with me and the bridal party on the day.
A Suzanne Neville Dress
Suzanne Neville at their flagship London store. It was the most magical experience, from trying on lots of different styles, to my fitting with Suzanne herself. I actually said ‘yes’ to the very first dress I tried on, and even though I tried on 10 other dresses, I knew almost instantly that it was the one! I felt so authentically ‘me’ and never wanted to take it off in my appointments. Each appointment was an absolute dream and so much fun. Suzanne also designed my mum’s gorgeous green dress, and we made the most amazing memories together, with Jess, Evie, and Suzanne. They are all incredible people and so talented.
Shoes
My shoes were Gianvito Rossi.
Ceremony & Chuppah
Our chuppah was ‘in the round’ and felt so special and intimate. We also used production Heathrow Sound Hire for our wedding.
Our music choice
Muzika were outstanding. We were in awe of them the entire night, and so were our guests!
In addition to the main band, we booked their string quartet, who performed not only at the chuppah but accompanied the band throughout the evening.
Flowers
Leanne from Wildabout Flowers is so talented, but also such a warm and special person, which made each meeting so much fun. She fully got the vision, and our flowers and candles were truly everything we dreamt of and so much more.
Photographer and videographer
Photographer James Mason is a true professional, and such a joy to have with us during our most special moments. James captured every moment so brilliantly, and we’re thrilled with our photos.
Steve from Tete a Tete was our videographer. Super professional and blended in seamlessly.
Food and cake
Ben and Shelby from Ben Tenenblatt made creating our menu easy. From the moment we went to the tasting. We knew we were in for a treat. All of our guests said this was the best kosher catered wedding they had been to! We went with the tuna tartare to start, followed by a steak main and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The crème de la crème was the sushi station, a must-have!
