We love that the couple also worked with their wedding planners, NYLux Events, to incorporate fun personal touches like custom food carts inspired by In-N-Out Burger as aa playful nod to their life in LA.
From Naomi’s timeless Reem Acra gown to the high-energy dance floor to the stunning images by Karlie Louise Photography, this Rainbow Room wedding was truly one for the books.
Get ready to swoon as we take you through Naomi and Jordan’s unforgettable day…
How We Met
Naomi, the bride: Jordan and I met while studying at Northwestern University, introduced through mutual friends. From the moment we met, it felt like love at first sight. I’m a Jersey girl, and he’s the quintessential laid-back guy from Malibu—our East Coast and West Coast personalities balance each other perfectly. One thing we’ve always shared is a love for skiing. In fact, Jordan proposed to me during a ski trip with friends—it was an absolute surprise and one of the most magical moments of my life!
A Classic New York Wedding
We got married at the iconic Rainbow Room in New York City, a venue that holds so much history. Growing up, I always envisioned a “classic New York” wedding, and this timeless space brought that dream to life. The Rainbow Room dates back to the 1930s, and is so glamorous and elegant. From its stunning architecture and famous crystals to the legendary rotating dance floor and breathtaking New York City views, it was everything we could have hoped for and more.
For me, the venue also had a personal significance— I have great memories of spending time in the city with my family, particularly my mom and grammy. Getting married in a city that holds so much importance to me was such a dream. It was truly the perfect setting to celebrate the start of our new chapter together!
Theme + Wedding Planner
Our wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and personal touches, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing team at NYLux Events. Andrea, Anastasia, and their team were incredible—organized, creative, and truly thoughtful. From start to finish, they made the planning process seamless, saving us time, negotiating contracts, and offering ideas that we never would have imagined. I can’t recommend hiring a planner enough—it made all the difference.
For our decor, we worked with Carlos Rivas and Antonio Vieira and their talented team, who helped bring our vision to life. Instead of designing against the iconic Rainbow Room, we created a palette that complemented its timeless beauty. Pale blue served as the foundation, accented with touches of silver, gold, white, and delicate pops of pale yellow and pink.
Invitation
For our invitations and other day-of printed accessories, we collaborated with Amy Swartz of Blk Yam Design and she was fantastic. She definitely followed our vision. Given that we were inviting international guests, we decided to go with a Paperless Post invitation, knowing that an e-vite would be the most efficient way to reach them.
Hair + Makeup
For my overall aesthetic, I drew inspiration from the beautiful and classic Naomi Biden, whose wedding style I absolutely adored. Tracy Hadden and Alexis Blickley worked their magic on my glam—I have never felt more radiant.
A Reem Acra Dress
I had the honor of being a “Bergdorf Bride,” and finding my dream dress at the legendary Bergdorf Goodman in New York City was an experience I’ll never forget. My gown was designed by Reem Acra, I decided on this dress for the timeless and romantic design. From the moment I tried it on, I knew it was “the one.” The elegant silhouette and luxurious fabric made me feel like the best version of myself—it was everything I had ever envisioned for my wedding day.
I was fortunate to work with bridal stylist Jackie Avrumson, who guided me every step of the way. She didn’t just help me find my dream dress but was also there on the big day to ensure everything went smoothly, even rescuing some guests from a couple of outfit hiccups! If you have the opportunity to work with a wedding stylist, I can’t recommend it enough.
Accessories + Shoes
I completed the look with iconic Manolo Blahnik heels and jewelry borrowed from both my grandmothers, which made the day feel even more special. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime bridal moment!
Ceremony & Chuppah
Judaism is a big part of my life. So it was essential for us to incorporate the meaningful traditions into our wedding day. Before the ceremony, I had a badeken, a beautiful and intimate moment surrounded by my girlfriends and the women in my family. Jordan was led into the room as Rabbi Ari Isenberg recited blessings, and Dylan Homapour sang traditional Israeli music. It was such a moving start to the evening.
We then signed the ketubah. For the ceremony, we stood beneath an amazing chuppah that was designed perfectly to match the Rainbow Room. It was made from clear acrylic, it featured floating orchids and other delicate flowers suspended in clear test-tube-like vessels. This thoughtful design allowed us to keep the stunning views of NYC and the sunset from the Rainbow Room completely unobstructed.
Our music choice
Music was such an integral part of our celebration, and we made sure it was unforgettable! The evening began with the incredibly talented Dylan Homapour, who sang beautiful Israeli music that added so much meaning and emotion to the night. During the reception, Starlight Music kept the energy alive.
Valerie, the bandleader, and her band were absolutely phenomenal—they had everyone on the dance floor all night long! We even handed out flip-flops toward the end of the evening, and they were definitely put to good use. For the afterparty, we turned the reception space into an epic celebration. In a fun twist, we transformed our chuppah into the DJ booth, creating a unique and meaningful centerpiece for the party.
Flowers
The florals were stunning—a mix of ranunculus, anemones, roses, and orchids—arranged throughout the space in a way that felt elegant and glamorous without being over the top. Every detail came together beautifully, honoring the classic charm of the venue while reflecting our style and personalities. It truly felt like us.
Photographer and videographer
Finding the right photographer and videographer was so important to us, and we couldn’t be happier with the team we chose. NYLux Events introduced us to several talented photographers, but the one we instantly connected with was Karlie from Karlie Louise Photography. Originally from California, Karlie’s easygoing and warm personality clicked with us right away, making the entire process feel natural and fun.
She made us feel completely comfortable during our engagement shoot, and on the wedding day, she was a true professional—organized, attentive, and so good at keeping things running smoothly. Her work exceeded our expectations, and we’re beyond grateful to have these stunning memories captured forever.
Our videographer, NST Pictures, came highly recommended by Karlie, and they were equally amazing. When we received the footage, we were ecstatic—it was everything we hoped for and more. They managed to capture every heartfelt and joyful moment in a way that felt authentic and cinematic.
Food and cake
The wedding was fully kosher. NYLux introduced us to Creative K, a Kosher caterer located in NYC. The food was absolutely to die for! From the hors d’oeuvres to the main courses, every dish was a hit with our guests, who couldn’t stop raving about how delicious and beautifully presented everything was.
Creative K went above and beyond, setting up custom food carts inspired by In-N-Out Burger—a playful nod to our life in LA. It was such a memorable way to end the night, blending high-energy music, delicious food, and personal touches that reflected our story.
Our cake was another highlight, baked by the incredible BTW Bakery. It wasn’t just stunning to look at—it was absolutely unbelievable in taste! Combining a kosher menu with exceptional quality was important to us, and both Creative K and BTW Bakery delivered beyond our expectations.
Advice to couples currently planning their wedding
Surround yourself with the reminder that everyone in the room is there because they love and support you. Focus on the joy of having all your friends and family together in one place—it’s such a rare and special gift. Most importantly, don’t sweat the small stuff. If something doesn’t go exactly as planned, take a deep breath and let it go. In the end, it all works out, and the little imperfections often become the best stories. This day is about love and celebration!
