We are absolutely in love with the gorgeous Jewish wedding of Zoe, a primary school teacher, and William, a senior buyer! Mostly because it was positively stunning, and a little bit because they worked with some of our very favorite Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendors to make their day a smashing success.
First off, Zoe and William opted to wed at #STGvendor Four Seasons Hampshire, one of the very best spots for a luxe Jewish wedding with those dreamy English countryside vibes that’s not too far from London but just far enough that you can make your wedding into a memorable weekend getaway, like these two did.
We also love that creative bride Zoe painted a floral design for the wedding invites and stationery, which Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Big Day Designs worked into their wonderful designs for the couple.
For entertainment, Zoe and William opted for incredible Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Ambassador Band, and as always they brought the party atmosphere and then some!
Then there’s Zoe’s gorgeous Lyn Ashworth dress, which she found at Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendor Ann Louise Bridal – and she can’t stop raving about their fantastic selection and service!
From start to finish, this wedding is truly a delight – do have a scroll through the gorgeous pics by Promise Photography and Zoe’s wonderful report!
How we Met
Zoe, the bride: When we first got together we both played along with the we met through mutual friends story but actually it was Tinder! It just shows that dating apps can work and William happily revealed to all our wedding guests the truth in his speech!
An English Countryside Wedding
We chose the Four Seasons Hampshire, England as we loved the beautiful gardens and hoped to have an outside wedding! The weather had other ideas for us but we absolutely loved the gorgeous hotel and being away from London for the special weekend with our families!
Pretty in Pink
As our wedding was in August we went for the ‘pretty pink’ style for our table arrangements and kept everything else in the room very neutral. We had a gorgeous long top table for our parents and grandparents which was full of hydrangeas and roses which we absolutely loved.
Invitations / stationery
Being creative herself, Zoe painted a floral design for our Wedding invites and stationery which everyone loved! We worked with Big Day Designs who were great at meeting our needs! We had calligraphy by William’s Mum for our table place cards, which was another special touch!
Hair + Make-up
My hairdresser Zoe Norris Hair was amazing throughout the whole day. I went for two looks, a sleek up do for the chuppah with pearl pins and then a more relaxed half up half down with a head piece for the evening. Zoe helped with making sure we were looking perfect for our photographs and this is so important!
A Lyn Ashworth Dress
The dress hunting was so exciting and I was able to have a few family members see the dress before the big day! My Lyn Ashworth dress was the second dress I tried on and I just knew it was the look I was going for, fitted on the top and floaty silk on the bottom. It does help to have some idea of what you like but it can completely change when you are trying on dresses!
Ann Louise Bridal is where I found the dress and they were absolutely amazing, which really helped with the process! Highly recommend.
Shoes
Go for comfort, I had two pairs so I changed for the dancing! I love to accessorise and went for white mid heels and a matching clutch bag from LK Bennett.
The handsome groom
He wore a Hugo Boss suit and looked absolutely dashing! The Bedekin was such a magical moment as we hadn’t seen each other for a week before the wedding.
Bridesmaids
Going with our summer pink theme, my sister and sister-in-law wore light pink dresses from Maids to Measure. The style was pretty much up to them, I just wanted them to be happy and comfortable!
Chuppah
Our Chuppah was full of gorgeous hydrangeas and roses. We went for a mixture of pink tones and a hint of orange to brighten things up! We left it in the hands of our florist as the arrangement was quite dependent on being inside or outside. Due to the weather we had it inside!
Our Music Choice
We did our first dance to ‘You are the Best Thing’ by Ray LaMontagne. We learnt a choregraphed dance which was quite nerve wracking as we hadn’t been able to practise for a week! It was so much fun on the night though.
Photographer
Reportage, now Promise Photography, were highly recommended and we knew a few people who had used them. Pascal was just amazing and we couldn’t be happier with our photos.
Food and Cake
The food was absolutely amazing, we were so impressed with our caterer Adam Zeitlin at My Koco. He has now moved onto other food ventures but do check him out.
Party Vibes
Ambassador Band had performed at William’s brother’s wedding and they were fabulous. It was a no brainer that we would choose them and they created such a fantastic party atmosphere.
