Rainbow Club Maya Dyeable Ivory Satin Pearl Block Heel Ankle Strap Court Shoes

You’ve chosen your gown, picked a veil, and booked for hair and makeup. But your bridal look’s not quite complete without one last thing: your wedding shoes! Your choice of shoes is another fabulous way to put your own unique footprint (pun totally intended) on your day, and there are so many gorgeous options to suit all tastes.

Today, we’ve teamed up with online bridal retailer Lace & Favour to chat through some of the top trends for wedding shoes in 2024.

No one knows this stuff better than Lace & Favour: an independent family run business, they’ve been supplying brides worldwide for more than 20 years, and they currently stock an astounding range of over 3000 hand-picked shoes and accessories.

Lace & Favour carries beloved bridal footwear brands including Freya Rose, Rainbow Club, Harriet Wilde, and so many more – and we’re thrilled to share their take on what’s trending today in wedding shoes, from bows to pearls to florals and beyond!

Brilliant Bows

Perfect Bridal Adele Ivory Satin Two Part Pointed Court Shoes With Pearl Bow

One trend we can’t get enough of is bows! Bows are captivating brides with their timeless charm and versatile elegance, and it’s easy to see why.

Perfect Bridal Arabella Dyeable Ivory Satin High Block Heels With Oversized Bow

A bow can transform any bridal shoe into a statement piece, adding a touch of whimsy and sophistication.

Perfect Bridal Margo Taupe Satin Mid Heel Bow Court Shoes

Depending on the shoe, bows can be romantic or playful, classic or contemporary – and there’s a bow to complement just about any bridal style.

Rainbow Club Joni Dyeable Ivory Satin Slingback Kitten Heels

Lovely Lace

If you want wedding shoes with a touch of femininity and romance, look to lace.

Intricate patterns and delicate texture add a touch of vintage-inspired elegance to your look, and the versatility of lace means it can do everything from complementing a classic ballgown to adding detail to a minimalist modern look.

Say I Choo: Explore Jimmy Choo’s Bridal Collection & Made To Order Service

16/11/2021 by Karen Cinnamon

When it comes to luxury bridal footwear, one name never fails to come in top of mind: Jimmy Choo. So many of our beautiful Jewish and Jew-ish brides, of all styles, opt to say I do in Choo – whether you’re looking for classic or quirky, showstopping or understated, Jimmy Choo’s got something to suit every taste.

And now, with Jimmy Choo’s Made To Order service, you can truly partner with the iconic brand in creating your wedding shoes (or bag, or sparkly sneakers to change into for dancing), your way! It’s easy and fun to select your style, fabric, color, and other finishing touches – there’s even an option to add a monogram or date plaque commemorating your big day!

A Choo for Every Foot

Whether you go for a towering heel encrusted with sapphire crystals, or a dainty flat in luxe blush kid leather, the sky’s the limit when it comes to Made To Order shoes. Though when you think Jimmy Choo, you might initially think of a sky-high heel, the reality is they’ve got so much more – whether you’re looking for a chic low heel or an elegant flat, there are so many gorgeous options. Some of Jimmy Choo’s most popular styles, including Sacora and Max, are now available as part of the line’s Made To Order journey.

To Have and to Hold

Complete your bridal look with a classic clutch or satin or crystal-embellished Bon Bon bucket bag. Jimmy Choo’s bridal handbag collection is rapidly expanding, and they’ve got some truly divine options to choose from, for tastes running from dainty to statement. The popular Bon Bon bag is now available in the mini size as well – perfect for just those few wedding day essentials!

Keepsakes to Cherish

And, unlike your wedding dress, your wedding shoes and bag are pieces you can enjoy long after the big day – whichever style you choose, you’ll be able to work it into your long-term wardrobe for daily dressing or special occasion glitz. What a special way to keep those beautiful wedding memories alive!

The Process

It couldn’t be simpler to create your perfect match in a Made To Order style. Just click through a menu of styles, then choose details like fabric, color, and other embellishments – it’s always simple and never confusing, and in mere minutes the shoes or bag of your wildest dreams can become a reality! From the date a Made To Order style is finalized, delivery is estimated to be 10 weeks, so do plan accordingly.

The Latest Jimmy Choo Bridal Collection Will Sweep You Off Your Feet

27/02/2020 by Karen Cinnamon

There are so many elements when it comes to wedding planning, but one of my favorite details that I can’t stop obsessing over are the wedding shoes! This might be the most exciting detail of your bridal look —besides the dress of course. These are the shoes you’ll take your first steps in as a newly married couple, and the shoes that will always remind you of your first dance together.

I think it’s an understatement to say that a little splurging on the right pair is most certainly allowed! I know I’m not the only one guilty about an overflowing closet of footwear, but your weddings shoes will always be the most special pair of shoes you’ll ever own, and that’s something worth investing in.

Say I Choo!

I still can’t believe how incredible this year’s Jimmy Choo collection is. I wish I could bring this year’s bridal collection back in a time machine with me when it was time to choose my own pair of wedding shoes. (I might have even bought a second pair to change into for the reception!)

Jimmy Choo is by far the most popular bridal shoe worn in Smashing The Glass’s real Jewish weddings. We have literally had 100s of Real Jewish Brides in Choo!

And now you can even give your bridal CHOOS a personal touch.

Yes – their made-to-order service can include a hidden golden inlay of your dreams. Whether it’s your special date, or even a personalized wedding hashtag, each personal touch will make your CHOOS unlike any other.

It was so hard to narrow this list down to my favorite designs. I wish I had about 10 more pairs of feet! From satin stiletto beauties, to mesh and glitter glam, here are my absolute favorites from this year’s 2020 collection. The best part is, no two CHOOS are alike so there’s always a style that will have you saying, “I Choo You!”

Top 30 wedding designers loved by Smashing The Glass brides & grooms

25/03/2016 by Karen

LOGOS
One of my big intentions with Smashing The Glass is to match my readers (sophisticated brides and grooms actively planning their Jewish wedding) with industry-leading artisans and vendors. One of the ways I do this is by listing every brand, supplier and service involved in each real Jewish wedding in the ‘little white book’ section at the end of every post. Everyone wins — I get the chance to showcase the work of the best designers in the world, and you have the opportunity to reach out and snap them up for yourselves!

So now that Smashing The Glass is almost three years old (and I’ve lovingly blogged more than 150 fabulous Jewish weddings!) I thought it might be fun to find out what brands my real brides and grooms have loved the most in the hope of adding another layer of inspiration to your wedding planning journey.

So below are the top 10 wedding dresses, top 10 wedding shoes, and top 10 grooms designers worn by real brides and grooms to date on Smashing The Glass. Get ready to swoon over the most stylish brides, the hottest grooms, and serious wedding shoe porn!

All the images are taken from real Jewish weddings that have featured on Smashing The Glass. Click on each image to see the full wedding or pin the images for later…
