2. Dedicated Spaces for Every Step of the Day
Another place where The Langham really shines is the wonderful range of rooms available for the different elements of the Jewish wedding day.

Host a welcome reception or pre-wedding drinks for a warm-weather wedding in The Courtyard Garden, The Langham’s private outdoor sanctuary. Indoors, choose The Portland Foyer for a sophisticated, historic atmosphere.
For the badeken, The Mayfair is the hotel’s most popular choice. Its soaring ceilings and beautiful bay window make it an elegant setting for what can be one of the most emotional moments of the day, while also providing a gorgeous backdrop for photographs.

There are a number of options available for the tisch, with the space chosen according to the size of the groom’s party. The rooms benefit from plenty of natural daylight and are conveniently located in relation to the badeken and ceremony spaces, making it easy for everyone to come together when the time comes.
For the chuppah and reception, of course, there’s the majestic Grand Ballroom, a Grade II listed space that accommodates up to 250 seated guests. Full of sparkling chandeliers and dramatic renaissance pillars, the Grand Ballroom makes the most magical setting for the biggest moments of your day.

After the chuppah, the Marylebone Room is perfectly positioned for yichud. It sits directly beside the Ballroom and Portland Foyer and can be divided to create a private sanctuary for the two of you. It’s enclosed and away from the noise outside, so you really do get those precious few minutes to savor alone together before heading back out to celebrate with your loved ones.
It’s these logistical details that can make such a difference on the day. And we love that at The Langham, London, each part of the day can have its own distinct ambience, all under one roof.

3. Kosher and Kosher-Style Catering Options
Catering options are a major consideration when you’re choosing a Jewish wedding venue, and The Langham offers a range of excellent options, whatever your needs.
The hotel works with an exclusive list of kosher caterers, including Tony Page, Ben Tenenblat, Eat Me Events, and Taste by Marc Sharer, so if you need fully certified kosher catering, you’ll have a choice of some of the biggest names in the business, depending on your preferred style of food.
If you don’t need fully kosher catering, there’s also the option of using The Langham’s in-house team and crafting a kosher-friendly menu. Meals can be tailored to exclude pork and shellfish, and this is a choice that’s actually become increasingly popular in recent years.

4. Stay, Get Ready, and Smash the Glass All in One Place
The Langham offers the couple a complimentary bridal suite on the night of the celebration, complete with Club Lounge access and breakfast for two the following morning. Or, if you’d rather wake up at the hotel on the morning of the wedding, you can opt to have the suite the night before instead.
For larger bridal parties, the hotel can transform one of its event rooms into a dedicated getting-ready space. The room will be chosen according to the size of your party, and the spaces have plenty of natural daylight, with hair and makeup chairs and mirrors available too.
It also works brilliantly if you’ve got guests travelling in from abroad – which is so incredibly common in the Jewish wedding world. Wedding guests can access preferential room rates from two days before the wedding until two days afterwards, subject to availability, making it so much easier to get everyone gathered together in one place.
