Aside from it’s obvious notoriety, Carnegie caught our eye as it is one of the few spaces we could find in Manhattan that not only comfortably holds 200 guests but can do so in an indoor and/or outdoor space. Their huge roof terrace is truly a hidden gem, with an extensive view of Central Park to boot.
For one venue fee you get the use of multiple rooms, all of which have plenty of windows and light with modern sound and light equipment built in. You can pretty much make anything happen here if you want it badly enough, but once you visit you’ll see that the space is already so handsome on its own that it doesn’t need much.
The venue and catering professionals are proficient, polite and crazy calm, something I came to appreciate as a frantic first time bride. All in all you can’t go wrong with Carnegie- as a young couple from New York and nearby with a deep love for this city, it was perfectly stylish and classic – everything we wanted it to be.”
