How did you meet your partner?We had a couple of mutual friends, he requested me on Facebook and we began messaging in 2013
When did you first know you were in love? A few years after we met, we made it official in 2017 and that’s when I knew

ABOUT YOUR WEDDING
When and where did you get married? 1 Hotel Central Park in NYC
What was your wedding song for walking down the aisle? We hired a guitarist to play and sing ‘Sea of love’ by Cat Power
How many guests did you invite to your wedding? We could only afford a micro wedding we had 25 guests I think – it was a very elegant brunch microwedding
What was your favorite part of/thing about your wedding day? It was pouring cats and dogs, we were initially going to have the ceremony outside in Central Park we had the permit for it and everything but the rain washed us out and the venue and officiant and our guests were so accommodating it ended up being perfect.
Best wedding planning tip? Don’t be afraid to use the dollar store, we did and our venue was at one of the nicest places in nyc and Reddit has great sub groups for planning a wedding in a budget highly recommend!
Wedding vendors you would recommend? 1 Hotel Central Park in NYC
Where did you go on honeymoon? Bermuda
What does marriage mean to you? Choosing love and choosing each other everyday, especially on the tough days
Has your relationship with your partner changed since you got married? Yes, we got married in October 2019 right before the pandemic and we’ve had to navigate very tough situations since getting married. I think we’re stronger than ever.
Secret to a happy relationship? Pick your battles, encourage and cherish each other.
