We love it when a couple blends their backgrounds into one totally unique day – which is exactly what today’s couple, Henrietta and Suni, did. Their big day was absolute the perfect combination of the bride’s Jewish heritage and the groom’s Arabic culture – and the pair worked with some of our very favourite Smashing The Glass Recommended Vendors to make it happen!
From the start, Henrietta and Suni knew they wanted something creative and different for their wedding photography – and they found the perfect match in Liam and Stam from #STGvendor Liam Collard Photography, who’ve not only got a fabulous trademark style (as you’ll see if you scroll through a few of their fab photos) but are also a total delight to work with.
For their venue, the duo opted for #STGvendor One Marylebone London, for an elegant, classically London vibe that perfectly showcased their colorful mix of heritages. And when it came to music, #STGvendor Sensation Band kept guests on the dance floor all night long as per usual!
Henrietta and Suni were also lucky enough to have some very special musical guests: the bride’s brother, music producer and artist Mark Ronson, teamed up with her BIL, singer-songwriter Nate Ruess, for a super special performance – which, as you can imagine, was a huge hit with the guests.
There’s so much more to say about this very special wedding, but we’ll leave it to Henrietta to fill you in on the rest…

Our Music Choice
My brother Mark Ronson is a music producer and artist and my sister is married to a singer songwriter called Nate Ruess performed at my wedding and played ‘’we are young’’. To say everyone went mad was an understatement. Such a fun moment.
Flowers
Flowers were by Ronny Colbie.
Photographer and videographer
We wanted something different and creative but wanted to make sure whoever we chose was a good fit for our wedding celebrations. We met Liam and Stam from Liam Collard Photography beforehand and really enjoyed their approach and personality to match the creativity.
So many wonderful moments were captured. They also helped us through the day immensely by sharing suggestions and experience to help us throughout the day.
Food and Cake
Our catering was One Dining.
Entertainment
My family have a very musical background so my brother and sisters husband did a live performance which was amazing to get the party started.
We also wanted to create a unique cultural mix and decided to do our entrance with an Arabic Zeffer performance and dance followed immediately by the Jewish dancing before the meal began.
Extra details
The cultural fusion, musical performances by family and the traditional dancing were all unique and exactly what we dreamed about before.
Advice to couples currently planning their wedding
Spend as much time as you can planning the day so you can relax and enjoy it when it comes around. It passes very fast so soak it all up and have fun.
