A Vivienne Westwood Bride for a Super Luxe Jewish Wedding featuring Jack Savoretti, at Four Seasons Hampshire, UK

Oh MY! Jessica and Philip! Where to start?

Their classically elegant and super luxe (and, might we add, dog-friendly) Jewish wedding was hosted at Four Seasons Hampshire, and was planned with expert precision by Just Seventy.

Jessica and Philip’s beautiful outdoor Jewish ceremony was adorned with epic floral arrangements, provided by renowned florist, Paula Rooney. Guests were cushioned in a sea of incredible blooms, leading to the absolutely breathtaking chuppah, which looked like an explosion of floral fireworks, framing the gorgeous couple.

Speaking of the gorgeous couple, could the pair of them have looked any more divine? Jessica in her spectacular couture Vivienne Westwood gown, inspired by Carrie Bradshaw’s divine Sex and the City dress, while groom Philip wore a slick Dolce & Gabbana suit.

The entertainment included the Jack Savoretti, and talented bride, Jessica, graced her guests with a few numbers!

Not one, but two of our much-loved Recommended Vendors helped to make this wedding extra special. The caterer on everyone’s lips (literally and figuratively), Food Story, and exceptional videographer, Imaginarium Cinematography, who provided the fantastic cinematic trailer below.

Such a luxurious and dreamy day is difficult to do justice in images, but famed photographer, Robert Shack, created a sensational set of natural lifestyle-look pictures that are an absolute delight to look through.

It’s now Jessica’s turn to take center stage once more to tell us the story of how her and Philip’s dream day came together.

How we met

Jessica, the bride: Philip took my sister on Jewish summer camp nine years ago, and she thought we would be a great match and told me all about him. I wasn’t sure at first, but when we bumped into each other on my first night of university, I knew there was something about him, and eight years later, the rest is history.

The Four Seasons

We got married at Four Seasons Hampshire. It is a beautiful and traditional country estate with amazing grounds, and we have always loved going there for weekend visits.

Believe it or not, we were completely drawn to the fact it is a dog-friendly hotel. It was extremely important that our beautiful cockapoo, Winston, was with us, both at the ceremony and at the wedding brunch the next day.

A traditional theme with a rustic edge

Just Seventy planned our whole wedding, from start to finish.

I wanted everything to be white and green, traditional and clean with a rustic edge (I’m not into the sparkle and glitz). I have very specific taste and I had a vision about the way I wanted the aisle to look for a very long time.

The flowers running all the way down to the chuppah made it feel as if the guests were in the midst of the flowers.

Bespoke invitations

Lucy at Lucy Says I Do designed our completely bespoke invitations that had a map of the Four Seasons grounds, so that guests had an idea of where the ceremony would be. They were absolutely beautiful, and I have been asked by many people who designed them.

Natural hair and makeup

I had the wonderfully talented Louise doing my makeup, and my favourite hairdresser in the world, Kym.

For the makeup, I wanted very natural (no foundation at all) and a classic black line on my eyelid, that I always wear. I wanted to look like me!

For my hair, again a very natural tousled look but I wanted it up for the ceremony, so Kym created a really lovely, natural and wavy pony tail for the veil to sit on top of.

A couture Vivienne Westwood gown

I only tried on ONE dress. Ever since the Sex and the City film, I knew Vivienne Westwood was the one for me! Vivienne’s dresses are for curvy girls, and I knew the exact shape I wanted, so they made me a couture gown, inspired by elements of different dresses they had in store.

The whole team at Westwood was incredible, and it is a dream of mine to go back there one day to have another dress made (in my dreams, I guess!).

Precious accessories

For my accessories, I wore some Vivienne Westwood pearl and gold earrings, and a Vivienne Westwood gothic veil. I also wore a gold bracelet that my husband got me five years ago for my 21stbirthday, which I have never taken off!

Classic Jimmy Choos

I had two pairs of shoes, because a girl can never have too many, right?

I had a classic pair of Jimmy Choo closed toe pointed duchess satin heels for the ceremony, and a skyscraper pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels that I wore for the party (My mother did not respond well to these, which is why they were vetoed for the ceremony and an extra pair HAD to be purchased!)

The handsome groom

My very handsome husband, Philip, wore a suit from Dolce & Gabbana. It was navy with black satin lapels – a perfect choice, if you ask me!

I love that he wore his glasses that he wears every day, so he looked just like him but a bit more polished.

Bridesmaids in emerald green

I had five stunning bridesmaids; four of them wore emerald green satin dresses from Tibi that I purchased from Matches (which completely tied in with the whole theme of wedding) and my sister and maid of honor wore a blue and green floral dress by designer Paul KA.

A fabulously floral chuppah

I knew I wanted white and green for our chuppah colors, but our florist Paula Rooney designed it and I completely trusted her!

A very special ring bearer

Our dog Winston coming down the aisle as ring bearer was very special and different, but apart from that, it was very traditional.

It was important for us to face the guests, as we wanted them to be completely part of every moment.

Entering the gates to the walled garden and seeing my husband Philip was a moment I will never forget. The sun and wind caught my veil, and it was truly magical.

Fabulous flowers

Our flowers were provided by Paula Rooney, the resident florist at the Four Seasons, who is just incredible at what she does!

Our fabulous photographer…

Robert Shack was our photographer. He captured the most incredible moments and the photos were better than we ever could have imagined.

I wanted very natural, lifestyle shots (nothing posed) and Robert really understood this. It also helped that he is hilarious and made us laugh all day. There is never a dull moment with Robert.

…and videographer

Imaginarium Cinematography did our video, and they used drones to capture us walking in the fields at sunset, which is really spectacular. They were also a complete pleasure to work with.

Food Story catering

Food Story catered the event. I didn’t actually manage to eat ANYTHING, but I heard the food was to die for!

Dancing the night away

My mum is a music manager, and her artist Jack Savoretti performed our first dance at the wedding. He was incredible.

Alongside Jack, we had Muzika who got the whole party going from start to finish. Everyone was standing on their tables at dinner dancing – it was great! I also sing, so I did a quick impromptu number at dinner.

Meaningful wedding toasts

My two best friends that are getting married next year to each other did a toast, which was really special to me. My grandpa also did a blessing for us at dinner, which I didn’t know he was going to do, it was extremely meaningful and a wonderful surprise.

I didn’t do a bride’s speech but I did sing (a lot) as mentioned above. We also had two separate rooms for the wedding, one for the dinner where the band featured at the front and a second room, which worked as a nightclub and had a full stage and bar.

Advice to couples currently planning their wedding

Stay calm, try to relax and enjoy every moment, and remember to drink lots and lots of water! It is also really important to eat breakfast, otherwise you just won’t get the chance to eat and will be too overwhelmed.

I went for a nice walk around the grounds alone the night before, which helped me to prepare. I also had all the bridesmaids in the room with me on the night before, we had room service and watched “Bridesmaids”, which kept me calm, and we all laughed the night away.
