Having pursued a life of song, Jonny is a trained singer, regularly leading services in his synagogue. An orthodox chazan working throughout the UK and abroad, he has been invited to officiate chuppahs as a chazan across the world, from Johannesburg to Jerusalem.
No ordinary chazan, Jonny brings soulfulness and spirituality to your wedding ceremony in a wonderfully personal yet fully professional manner with a stress free service, and was chosen to sing under the chuppah at the Smashing The Glass founder, Karen’s, wedding!
His voice and musicality are truly special with each ceremony catering to suit one’s personal taste be it with a beautifully intimate support of a guitar or perhaps the ethereal backing of a string quartet, or both. The end goal being to warm your hearts.

Past couple’s comments
Jonny brought soulful music and spirituality to our wedding ceremony in a wonderfully personal way. His voice and musicality are truly special and so many of our guests commented on his beautiful singing.
He was a joy to work with from beginning to end, suggesting great ideas and delivering far more to our celebration than we could have ever wished for.”
Thank you once again for what you did, it really was so very special. We had so many people who said how fantastic you were. You made our chuppah out of this world and it was so well received, we’ve had so many compliments on it.
It made our day go so amazingly, and the simcha set was also so fantastic. Thank you for doing the honour of being witness to our ketubah.”

Jonny – wow! You were absolutely incredible last night. The chuppah was nothing short of magical and your voice is sublime. The ‘ruach’ you created during the Israeli dancing both down and upstairs was awesome. Thank you so much!”

Picking our chuppah music was one of our favourite wedding planning moments! We loved watching all the emotive chuppah clips on YouTube. There are clever versions of traditional songs with more modern tunes, but our favourites were Joseph Schwekey’s stunning take on traditional versions and our mesmerizing chazan Jonny Mosesson truly did them justice.
It was so weird to share such an intimate moment with a stranger, but the three of us were beaming at each other the whole way through. It was very strange but very amazing!”
